Home is synonymous with happy faces looking at you and an eager heart waiting for your return; Home is – a comfortable sofa, your favourite spot before the television and of course, home-cooked meals. These are all happy associations that force us to return to it.
But all of these had no meaning for Alysé. The home had lost its charm for her. Consequently, she did not plan her return.
"When is your flight?" her team manager asked of her
"I haven't booked it yet." She replied with a smile
"Why…aren't you eager to return?"
Alysé merely sighed and waved to those eager hearts who were flying back home.
"Don't you want to go back?" Kian asked her
"Home is where the heart is." She replied.
