Their princess is good. Their princess is well. Their princess survived. They ended up hugging each other tightly, while the tears of joy escaped from their eyes.
Ashoka watched the drama and pretended to be moved too. As if the doctor has just announced they hit the jackpot.
Under the request of the doctor, they leave Aelin to rest. Once the doctor ensures they have left, he is all alone. He went to an empty stall in the washroom, wiped the sweat, the tension that appeared on his forehead, and then dialed the number.
After a few rings, the line got answered and the voice which can easily bring the competition to Satan of Hell in terms of coldness, intimidating, ruthlessness resounded.
Once the doctor gathered the courage, he delivered the news. The news of Aelin Kim gaining her consciousness. The other side went silent. Then a 'hmmm' resounded and the line went dead.
The doctor wiped the sweat once again, then got out of the stall as if nothing happened.

One week later ;
Sarah, Aedion, and Ashoka came to pay Aelin a visit, who was doing nothing except for the fact, her eyes were fixed on the view out of the window.
Sarah and Aedion stare at her and a small smile appears on their faces, after watching their daughter, alive.
[ A/n: Alright everyone, those who have read the un-edited version of this story. They will find the difference between hell and heaven in between the edited and unedited versions of the story.
The reason is that I want Lady Aelin Westfall to experience the love of the family, which she hasn't experienced, as Aelin Kim. So, despite all the schemings, all the plot twister, cliff-hanger, and her meeting with Park Taekook, I will be adding the family angle in this story.
While the unpolished story of Prithvi and Aelin would get a better edge too.
So, stay in touch. ]
" How are you feeling now, my child?" Aedion asked, with a gentle smile on his face. Aelin, whose eyes were fixed on the view, turned around, with a bit of difficulty and pain and stared at the trio who were approaching her.
" I am feeling calm, to my utmost surprise. No anger, no rage, no sadness, no sorrow, nothing. Just calmness. It's like I found bliss in this emptiness." Aelin explained, while her brows lowered and she squeezed her eyes shut to bear the pain, she was feeling.
Cursing the bird. Heck, that was the fit of the past. Now, she acts more maturely. She just passes her time by watching the view. She acts more humanely now, by trying to hide her pain and suffering.
" Oh, my child, it must be hurting badly. Unfortunately, I can do nothing for you. How I wish, I would have been in your place, so that you don't have to bear all this." Sarah said, tears started to fill, then flow from her eyes, staining her cheeks.
Aelin stared at the lady, who was crying and she felt unbearable pain. The pain, which she knows has nothing to do with all the wounds and injuries on her body. The pain… that pain… as if her heart was bleeding.
She doesn't know who these three people are. She doesn't even know why they are here? Why are they talking and acting affectionately with her, the monster, who only deserves hate?
But one thing was for sure, she hated the fact that the old lady was crying because of her. That lady was crying, because she was lying in the bed, all injured.
" Umm… please don't cry. I am alright. Trust me. I am not even feeling any pain. Really. Trust me." The agitated phoenix voices out, hoping to stop those tears from flowing.
After all, this lady, those tears, were reminding her of something, some memories she had long sealed in the back of her mind. They were weakening her. They were hurting her.
When Sarah saw the girl acting all brave and tough, just to make her stop crying, then Sarah ended up crying even more. Well, as a parent what could be the worst thing to witness, it has to be the injured state of the child, who would encourage you to be strong, rather than it being the other way round.
Aedion saw his crying wife and his agitated daughter, then sighed and took Sarah out of the room. Just to ensure, his wife won't cry in front of his daughter, who might feel sad, broken, hurt, and hateful.
After all, in this World being positive is difficult, since there is no fountain of positivity flowing out. But negativity, it's like a wildfire, the moment the spark reaches the target [ the sadness, the sorrow, the failure ], then it ends up blowing to an uncontrollable, unsalvageable amount.
His daughter had just won the battle, how can he let even the spark of negativity around her.
~~
Meanwhile in the room,
Ashoka watched the girl, who was more or less the same. That naive, dumb, emotional bitch. But since Mr. & Mrs. Kim wasn't there, he sighed and removed his 'being good and perfect' facade.
He stared at the girl, who was staring back curiously. Her eyes were a little misty, showcasing she would have cried if Aedion hadn't led Sarah out of the room.
" You are really something, Aelin. Not only did you survive the humiliation at your 18th b-day party, you even survived this fire accident. When I thought you would remain in a coma for the rest of your life, you woke up.
Aelin. Aelin. Tell me, what should I do with you? Or to be precise, how should I get rid of you? Huh! Well, it's not your fault that I love Kiara. Well, she is something that you can never be.
You see before I might have accepted you as my wife and then fuck you to give birth to the great-grandson of Gavriel Kim. But now, you are looking as a horrendous hazard. Even staring at you gives me chills.
You just waste your breath, struggling to live. Because now, no one will like you. No one will love you. Your existence will only end up being a burden to me and others. You should have died when you had the chance." Ashoka said with a contempt smirk on his face.
Aelin just kept staring at him.
" You know what, you still have the chance, just die. Or else, I hope you won't regret it when I will make your life a living shitpiece of Hell. I don't have any enmity with you.
None. But you annoy me. Your existence irritates me. If you really become my wife, then trust me, I will make you the most popular laughingstock of the nightclubs.
Consider it as a last warning from me. Just die." Ashoka added with a cold smirk on his face.
Aelin just stared at the guy in front for a good few minutes, then a small smile escaped. It widens a little. Little more. Soon it turned into laughter. A peal of heartily jovial laughter. The phoenix who hasn't smiled for centuries, laughed till her jaws started to ache. Making her finally stop smiling. The tear of joy escaped from her eyelids.
Ashoka stares at Aelin with a confused look. What? Did she lose her mind, her sanity? Is she taking him and his warning as a joke?
" How dare you to laugh at me?" Ashoka asked with a grim face.
" Oh! When someone makes a joke, then the other person must laugh, out of courtesy. Don't you know the codes of conduct, Mister? Holy water, I forgot a wild kid like you won't understand what code-of-conduct is and how to follow them." Aelin replied back in a completely calm and serene voice, as if she wasn't poking Ashoka's weak spot, unknowingly.
" Wild.. wild what? How dare you?" Ashoka asked, fuming in anger.
" So, you are illiterate too. Can't even speak the word 'wild kid'? Well, it's a given then, that you know nothing about rules, regulations, and codes-of-conduct, Mister." Aelin added with a lazy tone. Showcasing no excitement, as if she hasn't finally found her first scapegoat on Earth.
" Illiterate?" Ashoka repeated the word.
" Well, it means a person with no education, no knowledge of history and background. Oops, what a pity, you don't have the background, to begin with, Mister Wildchild.
Now, hurry up and make space. Your ladyship would like to rest. Or are you really burning with emotions for me, instead of someone named Kiara?" Aelin asked back, then sighed and tried to sleep with difficulty.
" Emotions… for you? Impossible. Never." Ashoka spat in anger.
" Anger is an emotion too, Mister. Now leave before I unleash my emotions on you. You see, you won't be able to bear it. You might even regret the moment you met me, after that.
So, show yourself out." Aelin said, then closed her eyes.
As for how she knows this, then the thing is, she doesn't. When this phoenix pokes someone, then she doesn't need any information or anything to hit on someone. She just begins and the other person starts to feel defeated, automatically. The master of manipulating someone's feelings and emotions. After all, she hasn't done doctors in pissing people for anything.
[ I know, most of you would be like, author, you shouldn't go on someone's background or something like that. But Aelin simply called him mannerless for acting all brazen and out of line.
So, please don't take it personally. As the author respects people from all walks of life. Not to mention, you all will be falling in love with this villain in the future. If the edited version didn't go too far and the scenario of Payal remained intact.
As of now, the future is unpredictable, even to the author. ]
