Horrifying scream, fear plastered to their faces. They ran, searching for a safe place to hide but one of them was wounded.
Her left knee was injured when she stumbled upon escaping by the killer. "If you should have told everyone, we should have canceled this trip, for heaven's sake!"
"There's no point in blaming someone. The best thing we can do is to find a way out of this town!" The female lead meddled between the two boys who argued about the legend of the abandoned village.
She gasped, listened to the sound of the birds and nature. Her face was covered with blood after she escaped from the killer's hands.
The movie reached the climax where the protagonists struggled to find a way out of the secluded town.
After a couple of hours, they were attacked by the killer who kept the enchanted town for how many years.
Roy stooped to her, "I think the killer will sacrifice their souls to his Lord. What do you think, Halora?"
He looked at the screen seriously, wanted to warn them that they were closer to the way out of the creepy town.
He gave her enough time to think. But Halora shook her head and replied, "No, he is not truly the killer. I think he is following them to... to warn and tell them the way from that place! That's my prediction."
He tilted his head in agreement. She has a point but the movie was planned and written well.
Beside Halora, she noticed that Sandra looked sleepy and bored. She rolled her eyes the entire moment since the movie began.
"Hmm, I'm sleepy." She pouted, trying to have his attention but Sebastian watched over the scene where the male lead confessed his feelings to the girl he adored for long years.
Despite the situation, he earned the courage to tell her that he loves her so much. He cupped her face, wiped all the tears that ran down to her face.
"W–why are you telling me all of this? Why!" The female lead asked him confusingly. She never understood why he did it, but she felt like he was saying goodbye.
She shook her head, turned around on him. They haven't found a better place to stay before the darkness and now, he confessed to her.
"I like you since the first day I met you! I... I was afraid to take the risk as I thought you might ignore me the whole time at the school!" He told her. Tears shone to his weary eyes, filthy face.
The rest of their friends was startled by his confession. They knew it since then but no one told her about it.
But, the longer they stayed at the place, the small chance of finding their way back home.
The killer was just around them, listening to their deep, heavy breaths and waiting for the perfect time to attack and kill them.
A long, deafening silence filled around them. The female lead looked at his glinting, emerald eyes until she cupped his face.
She caressed it until her lips touched against his. "I like you too since the first moment I saw you." She mumbled between the kiss.
Their body touched and became one but little did they know, the killer appeared out of nowhere.
He was carrying a sharp, deadly knife. His face was covered with a black, disturbing cloth. He suddenly laughed out loud, walked closer to the female lead who hid behind him.
"Come with me, my long, lost Queen and the rest of your friends will be safe."
"W–what are you talking about? I... I am not your Queen!" She told the killer who looked intently into her eyes.
"She's right! And you are not a King either! Look at you, dude!" One of the teenagers suddenly replied to the killer.
But he remained calm and determined to convince the female lead to come with him to the lost Kingdom found at the place.
But normal human eyes couldn't see it. It was sacred and built only for the long, lost Queen.
The killer threw the knife to the ground. He smiled, took off the black cloth that covered his face.
Everyone was surprised by his good–looking face. He was undeniably a King who disguised himself as a killer.
He was tall, dark, and wore a crown made up of pure gold. His mesmerizing, glowing bluish eyes caught her attention.
She gulped, held his first love's hand. She has no choice but to protect and save the rest of her friends and the man she truly loves.
"I hate liars, but if you will keep your words, then I am willing to come with you."
"Wait, what? Are you out of your mind? We will get home, safe and sound!"
But the female lead was hypnotized by the King. He possessed powers and she knew about it.
For the moment, Sebastian gulped at what he saw. It seemed like a forbidden, horror movie where humans were the weakest creature in the entire universe.
Secretly, he stared at Halora who waited for the ending. It was quite a good, interesting movie but it made him uncomfortable.
"She will kill him, just wait and watch it," Hauora mumbled.
And before the killer reached for her hands, the female lead smirked, splashed the mud to his eyes. When she got the perfect timing, she ran out closer to the knife and stabbed him from behind.
Blood dribbled, splashed from his nose and wound. His eyes widened until he fell into the grassy ground, dying and weak.
"I warned you, humans are not the weakest but the universe itself." She told him with a sarcastic smile on her lips.
The killer grabbed her left leg and mumbled before he died, "I am the future of the man you love."
He chased for his breath but he was stabbed to death by the girl who will be his Queen.
The male lead quickly grabbed her. He embraced her but the ground moved, the birds fled, and the trees danced with the howling wind.
Little did they know, the entire town was the killer's Kingdom, and the waterfalls they visited were the sacred source of water and blood.
Fortunately, the group of teenagers went back home safe and sound. They sent one of them to the hospital and luckily, she was fine.
But the female lead screamed at the top of her lungs when she saw that the young man she loves became the King she had killed, one year ago.
"Wow, what a tragic ending!" Roy said but when he turned sideways, he saw teardrops on her chest.
"Hey, are you crying?"
Halora confusingly looked at him and nodded her head. "Huh? I... I am not–" She paused when she felt a cold thing on her face. "H–how? I... I didn't know that I was crying the whole time!"
"Here, just wipe it all out of your face." Roy took off his handkerchief and lent it to her. Until they heard a loud, terrible sound of the door.
Halora blinked her eyes when she saw Sebastian standing at the door. "Sebastian." She whispered.
But abruptly, he vanished from the spot where she last saw him. "Sebastian!"
