Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: A Gang Fight

"Hey, did you saw Halora Chui walked this way?" Roy asked a student who spoke with somebody.

"I don't know! I don't even know that girl!" A student who was standing in front of the gymnasium shook her head, rolled her eyes, and flipped her black hair.

Roy was devastated, afraid, and determined to find Hermione. "Damn! This is my fault!" He cursed, rubbed his hair angrily, and bent his knees low.

"Hey! Hey!"

Someone ran nearer to him. She was wearing a white blouse, a white skirt above the knee, and a pair of white shoes. "It's you! The boy who brought Halora to the clinic, am I right?"

He then quickly turned around when he heard the familiar voice came from behind. "Ohh, Ms. San Diego, I... I am sorry for my strange actions! I... I am just feeling afraid of her!"

"I can see it through your eyes, that's why I'm here to give you this thing." The school's nurse scooped something from her pocket.

She then gave an old model of a cellular phone to him. "Halora's cellphone! Thank you! Thank you so much, Ms. San Diego! I... I need... I need to call someone!"

"It's nothing! Perhaps, it is an emergency. I gotta go by now!" She stuttered and quickly walked back to the clinic.

Roy was too frightened, as he knew the blame for everything is on him. "Come on! I need to get your number!"

He searched for Sebastian's number but he found nothing. "Damn it! She must use another pen name for him!"

For the nth time, he looked at all the numbers saved in her phone. Until an unsaved number popped up in the call history.

"Come on! Answer the goddamn call now!" The phone rang yet no one answered it. "Come on, Sebastian! I need your help before something bad might happened to Halora!"

Unfortunately, the number he dialed for the fifth time became out of coverage. He kicked off the grass and looked upon the sky.

"Wh–where did you go, Halora?" He murmured shortly.

Until a loud, cold wind howled. It brought fear to him yet the dark sky slowly turned blue and bright.

"And I always remember, the day you kissed my lips. Light as a feather and it went just like this. No, it's never been better."

"Ohh damn!" Roy was shocked when someone sang out of nowhere. Surprisingly, an unregistered number appeared on the screen.

Eagerly to help Halora, he answered the call and said, "Please, I badly need your help! Hermione is missing!"

"Damn it! I knew it! But where are you right now?"

Confirmed, it was Sebastian who called back. "I... I am at the school's gymnasium and I speculate, a group of gangsters took her!"

Sebastian breathed heavily and replied, "Wait for me, I'll be there in a second!"

"Yes! Hurry up, before it's too la–" He paused, widened his eyes, and opened his mouth. "Se–Sebastian, you're here!"

He nervously hung the call, stared at the boy who magically appeared in front of him. "Give me that phone!" He commanded.

"Here,"

"I don't understand why he didn't use my real name! What's this? Can you read it?" He acted like an immature creature which has made Roy disgusted and grossed out.

"You look like a little boy who wants a lollipop! Halora is missing and your name on your phone doesn't even matter right now!"

Sebastian wanted to argue with him but they heard a woman's voice nearby. Roy looked at him and exclaimed, "This way! They must be brought her to the hidden part of the campus!"

For the first time, they both agreed. Sebastian led the way to the back of the gymnasium, while Roy followed him.

"What brought you here, Young Lady? I've been expecting to see the campus bad boy, not everyone else neither you!"

The leader of the gang lit the tip of the cigarette he took from his pocket. He giggled, seated on the rock, and started at the frightened girl.

Halora stiffened, held her breath, and said, "Anyone is not allowed to do that thing if you don't mind."

"Shut up, you freak! I don't want to hear your fucking irritating voice!" He clamored which was the reason for her to move back.

Halora shut her mouth as what he wanted. She touched the ground, looked around the creepy place but the only thing she felt was the dried leaves fell off from the trees.

She gasped and little did she knew, she lost the ring. She shook her head, "Hey! Hey! Can you help me out?"

One of them seemed kind, nervous and soft heartened. Halora looked at his brown eyes, "Please... Please, I am begging you. I... need your help,"

"I... I ca–can't! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry but I can't!" He then quickly turned around, widened his eyes when he saw his Master stood in front of him.

"Are you going to help her, aren't you?"

"No! Why... Why would I help that bi– that bitch!" He looked at Halora's way and deceived his Master. "However, it's quarter to two but he's not still here, Master. I don't think he's coming as what you both agreed the other night."

The boy who stood before him threw the cigarette to the ground, stepped on it, and ceased the fire. "It's showtime!"

He sneered, licked his lips, and went onto the top of Halora. He held her jaw tightly, "Don't move. It'll be quick!"

"Please! Please don't do it! I... I am begging you to stop!"

Instead of pulling back, the bad boy took off the pocket knife and pointed it to her neck. Halora widened her eyes, surprised and astounded.

She has never been in the same situation as the memories of the past hunted her every time she was in danger.

Her breathing became difficult, wanted to vanish but she knew it was impossible to happen at all.

"Shh, it won't hurt you, little girl. I promise, okay?" The boy placed the tip of it into her face but she pushed him forcibly eagerly.

"Sebastian!"

"Sebastian, please help me!"

She crawled, shook her head in fear. She was begging while the rest of them busted into a burst of sarcastic laughter. "Poor little girl, you'll be dead."

"I think, he's not coming to save you." He glared at her furiously, gripped the weapon tightly, and quickly attacked Halora.

And by that moment, he swiped the knife into her face until droplets of blood fell into the grassy ground.
