Sandra tied the box with a red ribbon. She decorated it, she wasted time for a gift. "Done! The next thing to do is to call my beloved classmate,"
"But she doesn't even like you at all! What's the point of all of this?" Garry rolled her eyes and put aside the scissor.
"I'll make this year's competition more memorable for us. A bomb will explode, a girl will burst into tears, and a real queen will seat on the throne."
Her laughter echoed around the classroom as it caught the attention of her classmates. It was early in the morning and they waited for their teacher.
Sandra turned her head into the door and saw Hermione from afar. She quickly grabbed the box and smiled widely.
But, a group of boys burst into laughter as they watched something in the right corner of the room. Sandra looked at them sharply, "Watching a funny movie huh,"
She rolled her eyes as she walked closer to them. She stopped right in front of the boys and quickly grabbed the cellphone from the boy who seemed like their leader.
"Let me see it, boys," she said sarcastically and turned her gaze at the screen until she realized it wasn't a movie at all.
She gripped the box out of anger. "Jerks!" Furiously, Sandra threw the cellphone into the wall as it made the group of boys gasped and held their breaths.
A loud, disturbing noise caught the students' attention. All eyes are on Sandra and a few of them took a video.
"Shut your mouth up, boys!" She reminded them but one of the boys stood up.
"You need to pay Master for that broken phone," spoke the boy who was a member of a gang. Sandra smirked and turned her back on him. "Hey, I am talking to you bit–"
Abruptly, Roy came up and hindered him from hurting his cousin. Sandra smirked at him and said, "Shut your mouth up and we will be in peace."
The group of boys giggled as they witnessed how she transformed into a real beast. Sandra was an adorable, sweet teenage girl but it is often seen by others.
"Thanks for saving me! I know you won't let anyone hour your beautiful cousin," she whispered and tapped Roy's shoulder.
After the dramatic scene, all of the students who witnessed it gossiped about Sandra. They hissed, laughed, and even cursed without disturbing the campus crush.
Garry clapped her hand as she witnessed what happened. "That was an insane confrontation, oh my goodness!" She widened her eyes when Halora passed by.
She then quickly poked Sandra's back and said, "She's here,"
"Record and upload it. I must convince everyone that I am sorry and regret everything I did to her," spoke Sandra who smiled sarcastically over her shoulder.
She winked at Lou who prepared the camera while Sunny was seated in her seat with a pouch of instant popcorn.
Halora was accompanied by Seb to her classroom. She was completely unaware of what happened earlier between Sandra and the group of boys.
However, she noticed something strange yet she ignored it and took her book with her. She pretended to be reading until she saw someone's shoes in front of her seat.
"Halora," A cracked voice echoed.
Sandra gave the signal to Lou as she took a deep breath. Nervous and afraid, she quickly put the box into the armchair.
"What's this?" Hermione asked her. "If it's a prank then let me throw it into the trash–"
Sandra stopped her with all the strength she has. She looked down at the floor, "I am sorry,"
"Pa–pardon?"
She blinked her eyes several times and started at Sandra's watery eyes. She never imagined nor expected to hear those words from the girl who bullied her since then.
Halora panicked as she saw the rest of their classmates listened to their conversation. She hated it, she hated attention and the smell of the suffocating air.
"I... know this is impossible b–but, I am here right before you asking for your forgiveness!"
Halora looked at her but still, she was speechless. Sandra burst into tears and took her hand. It was too cold, wet, and smooth yet, a simple apology will never change the truth.
"P–please, please forgive me!" She begged but the group of boys growled and laughed so loud which made Sandra annoyed.
She wanted to scream, yet she has no other choice. She then pretended to be kind, disregarded their classmates' reaction.
"I... I am not doing this because of my image! I am... I am doing this because I regret everything– everything that I did to you! So please, please, gi–give m–me one more chance to make it up to you,"
Sandra looked sincere with her words. She cried she begged, she held Halora's hand eagerly. She was too desperate for her forgiveness.
Halora shook her head in disbelief. It was too hard for her to see the girl who bullied her since day one..., trembled and who asked for her grace.
"Pl–please, te–tell me the truth! Ar–are you really sincere with all of these or are you just acting because... because...," she paused.
She was not in the right place to ask her that question. But Halora looked deeply into her eyes, her shoulders shivered as the students around them closed their mouths.
Halora slowly opened her mouth which has made Sandra gulped, "I'm sorry, but I can't accept your apology."
Until one of the students screamed, "Go back to your seats now! Someone is coming, hurry up!"
She looked away from Sandra's gaze as she felt guilty of her thought. It was in the tip of her tongue yet she was saved by someone. She was saved from her conscience.
Disappointed and disgruntled, Sandra walked into her seat and put the box on her chair.
"Good morning everyone!" spoke Mrs. Yang.
Lively, they all answered in chorus, "Good morning, Mrs. Yang!"
She explained something to the entire class but Sandra closed her fists out of anger. Plan A was a failure until...,
"To those who are interested in the upcoming search for Mr. and Mrs. Milanosa, feel free to write your names here. Remember, we are only accepting two females, two males in each section. Do you understand?"
Everyone nodded as well as Sandra who looked into Halora's way. She put her index finger on her lips, "It's time to kill the snakes and leeches by drastic jealousy."
She murmured and smirked like an evil creature.
This time, what is Sandra's next plan to convince Halora that she was sincere and true to her words?
What would be the next revelations about Halora's past?
