Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: The School's Carnival I

The next day, all of the students were all excited about the school's activities. They wore their best of best outfits, fixed their hairs as it was the most, long-awaited moment for everyone.

The student leaders conceived different booths for everyone. Movies Marathon booth, wedding booth, jail booth, confession booth, music booth, and paint booth.

They also put a freedom wall on the main entrance of the campus where students can write their feelings about their crushes, friends, and even appreciation letters for the teachers and school staff.

Halora wore a plain, rose pink shirt paired with denim pants and white rubber shoes. She looked like an ordinary, high school girl who stared at the entrance of the campus.

The school carnival happened once a year. It was fun for other students but for Halora, it had never been amusing and great for her.

She would always walk solitary, watched thrilling and horror movies. She would eat ice cream in the school's garden and watched a couple of students laughed at the wedding and jail booth. Halora gasped, prayed that this year would be different from the previous school festival.

As she walked into the colorful entrance, Halora saw the freedom wall on the right side. She looked behind and thought students were entering inside.

Fortunately, the entrance was too quiet as most of the students went onto the different booths they liked.

Since she entered La Milanosa Academy, she would always write and left a sticky note that comprised her wishes. She took a ballpen inside of her backpack, picked the yellow pad, and written something on it.

She was smiling while writing the last part of the wish. Halora never wrote her name under it, she would post it there and stared for a moment to read it all over again.

"It's a rule of law of attraction, isn't it?" spoke a man behind her.

Halora gripped the ballpen upon hearing the man's voice. She was still ashamed of what happened yesterday yet, he was there again to bother her all day.

"Just leave me alone for this week," She said, tried to ignore him for the whole week.

She needed peace of mind and she would have it if she would appreciate her own accompany until the school festival ended.

But Sebastian was too hard-headed, persistent, and always liked to be with her. "Come on, let's go to the movies booth!"

He grabbed her arms, forced her enough to have a companion. "I said, leave me alone!"

Sebastian narrowed his eyes. He tightened up the grip on her arms while Halora breathed heavily.

He wanted to relish the day with her but Sebastian saw the gang members from a distance. "Hey, Sebastian! Shall we?"

Andy, one of the gang members asked him. They were standing before them, looked at Halora who hid at his back.

Sebastian has no other choice but to go with them. They had to search for Markus who suddenly appeared on the campus while the rest of the students celebrated and enjoyed every single moment.

Halora breathed with ease as he finally loosened up the grip. She fixed her backpack, looked at Sebastian's friends.

"Ohh, Hi Halora! It's you again!" They greeted her but she was afraid that they might hurt her.

"Let's go!" Sebastian let go of her hands and walked closer to the gang members. He never said anything to her.

Halora bowed her head, felt embarrassed, and quickly turned her back. Her heart pounded too fast, thousands of horses had chased her which made her nervous and worried.

Sebastian led the way while the rest followed him. He tried to resist Hermione but he suddenly halted, gasped, and looked back at her.

Halora ran towards the young boy who waved his hands at her. She looked so happy, jolly, and even encircled her arms around him.

"Who's that boy? Do you guys know him?" Andy said, raised his eyebrows, and felt sorry for Sebastian.

"He's Roy Adrian if I'm not mistaken."

For a moment, he felt a sudden pang of pain. He was jealous of the way she put her arms on him, the way she smiled at him, and the way she acted with Roy.

He held his breath for a second. Stared at them until he witnessed an unexpected thing.

"Let's go! Such a waste of time!" He mumbled, gritted his teeth, and walked away from the wide field.

The gang members shrugged off their shoulders, noticed the sudden change of his mood.

They have been together for how many years as they planned to transfer this school year. Because of the biggest gang fight that happened last school break, Sebastian's father quickly contacted Mrs. Lee and processed their papers.

As they walked silently, a group of gangsters blocked their way to the gymnasium. While a few of the students walked around with their friends.

They seemed like freshmen because of their young, innocents features. They were five who stood like a King and one of them bumped Sebastian's shoulder.

He looked at him mischievously, "Ohh sorry for that! I thought you are with the campus bullied girl! It's you, Sebastian Woo!"

He shook his head, looked at him from head to toe. Sebastian stopped the gang from starting trouble. He gave a signal and they walked aside from him.

They all knew he can handle the situation by himself. "What do you want from me?" He asked the boy coldly enough to kill a person.

Their eyes met, their chest moved up and down as they remained quiet yet eager to punch each other's face.

The boy put his right arm on Sebastian's shoulder. He tapped and gently squeezed it with a mischievous smile, "Why would you always save that poor girl, huh?"

"It's none of your business!" He replied, hit his hands off from shoulders.

Sebastian stood coldly. He needed to be calm, control the rage within before he transformed into a beast form.

The boy sarcastically laughed turned around upon hearing the campus bad boy's answer. "Hey, where do think you're going huh? Don't dare to turn your back on me again!"

He clenched his fists, glared at Sebastian angrily. But Andy saw that he was about to punch the Young Master from behind.

"Hands off!" He told him until Sebastian looked back at the young boy with a pair of glinting eyes.

He smirked and mumbled, "Leave her alone. That's an order,"
