For the first time, Sebastian felt a sudden pang of pain while watching her with someone else. He pretended to be okay but the truth prevailed on its own.
The rain continued pouring that caused gloominess to the entire school. All of the booths that were set in the middle of the wide field were temporarily closed.
Most of the outdoor activities and games have paused for the meantime until the rain stop sprinkling.
"I can even catch a big teddy bear than him!" spoke Sebastian out of the blue. He looked so upset about it, but the rest of the gang members remained silent and ignored his childish side.
Robbe mischievously poked Yong's shoulder. He has plans for their leader but he need his help to make it successful.
While Daniel and Andy crossed their arms, listened to the girls' loud voices nearby.
"Look! That Halora is with Roy again! Such a flirt girl, right girls?" The girl with blonde hair told her friends who secretly peeked at Sebastian.
They rolled their eyes in anger and jealousy. "I never thought boys would like to be with a cheap, poor girl like Halora!"
All four girls next to the group of boys giggled as they gossipped about Halora. Little did they know, Sebastian was controlling the rage within while looking to Halora from a distance.
Their annoying voices echoed to his head as the cold wind blew up. He closed his fists and eyes until he remembered that awkward moment with her the other day at Zenith's house.
"Thank God the rain stopped! Come on, girls! Let's go to the marriage booth!" The group of girls, freshmen, and sophomores hailed when the atmosphere slowly turned into a warm and cheerful one.
Daniel raised his eyebrows while he looked at their way. He shook his head, tapped Sebastian's shoulder. "What is your next plan? Would you still going to see Halora?"
"Yes! I will invite her to the arcade booth and I will get the biggest teddy bear they offer!"
Sebastian mumbled certainly. He gritted his teeth, glanced at the small teddy bear she was holding.
"Sebastian!"
"Where are you going?" spoke Robbe.
He raised his eyebrows, swallowed greedily the only fluid that makes him hydrated. His knees trembled when the campus bad boy stopped in the middle of the wide corridor.
Andy shrugged off his shoulders suddenly, "Let him go, Robbe. He looked upset and queasy." He warned him as he walked with Daniel.
Yong hit Robbe's head. They planned something to bring back the smile to Sebastian's lips. He whispered, "Let's go! We have to convince Halora first!"
By then, they both told Daniel, the campus's ideal husband. He seemed serious, cold-like Sebastian but he is an honest type of man.
"See you there then. We will try to convince him too!"
They looked seriously at each other. The rest of the gang members agreed to their plans. They hurriedly dispersed throughout the entire campus, while Robbe and Yong followed Halora.
_
"Halora!"
"Halora!"
Yong called the girl who laughed with Roy. She looked too happy with him, her smile was different. It was genuine, candid, and blunted.
But because of the students' cheers, Halora didn't notice and hear them. They walked around the crowd, tried to catch her attention.
"Damn it! She can't hear us!"
Yong cursed out of frustration. He narrowed his eyes, poked the group of girls before him. "Excuse me! I... I just need to talk to Halora!"
The group of girls screamed enough to ruin his eardrums. He quickly covered his ears, smiled bitterly at them. "Sorry, but we are in a hurry!"
Yong accidentally pushed them away from his sight. His face filled with eagerness to surprise Sebastian who wanted a girl's company.
"Sorry girls!" Robbe waved his hands on them, winked his left eye. He then breathed heavily when they reached the spot where they saw Halora earlier.
Unfortunately, Roy invited her to walk around the school's garden. It is the only place where they can talk peacefully. There were no booths positioned in the garden as Mrs. Lee ensured everyone's peace of mind and serenity.
Robbe pulled his hair devastatingly. He looked tired, his sweat ran down to his face. He peeked around the area but it was too late to chase and beg Halora.
"I hate it! I... I have never tried to chase a girl in my entire life, but look at us now! We are trying hard to please him!"
"We both know that she's the reason why he canceled the gang fight! We are doing this for him to be happy, and as his friends!" Yong told him why they have to chase Halora.
He gasped, looked away from Robbe's round glinting eyes. For a second, he glanced up above the blue, warm sky. There were no clouds, it was all clear, luminous, and blooming.
Yong took a heavy, deep breath while he looked upon it. "Let's go! We have no choice but to go back and see the rest of us."
"Are you sure we won't look for her anymore? There's one place we haven't checked yet."
"You are right. Let's go and hope for the best!"
Robbe tilted his head in agreement. Without wasting any second, they ran as fast as they could to the serene place inside of the school premises.
Few of the students who stayed in the field and corridor saw the two of them running like there was a marathon. They wondered what happened but none of them has the right to know the exact thing.
Along the way, they noticed two students who wore the same pink t-shirt from distance. They looked around the way as if they were searching for someone else.
Robbe ignored them and just followed Yong's steps. They were closer to the school's garden, group of boys and girls put a thick cloth to the grasses.
They bought food from the cafeteria to have lunch under the warm, beautiful sight.
On the corner, Roy smiled at her as he took the cloth from his backpack. He looked so happy, comfortable with Halora.
"Let me help you." spoke Halora as she reached for the edge of it.
A flush crept to his face when she smiled over her shoulders. Her round, brown eyes glinted.
He remained quiet, positioned the pink cloth to the spot they chose. Roy was about to to put all the foods they bought when two students suddenly came in their way.
"Hello, are you Halora Chui by any chance?" The girl wearing a pink t-shirt asked her. She was holding a black handkerchief and handcuffs.
Roy narrowed his eyes upon hearing her name. He turned around, stood firm in front of the girl.
"Y– yes! Yes, she's the girl you are referring to." He replied coldly. Until a wide smile plastered on the girl's crimson lips.
