Chereads / Love you Sweety / Chapter 26 - The taste of defying

Chapter 26 - The taste of defying

A swarm of bees was gathered around the front gate. Once, just say once that the kids of IIM could go out of school for fun, even though for an educational purpose; they would all fall in it. Especially the females.

Rob passed a look at the girls, he could not recognize those familiar faces he saw in classroom. Because they dressed in a way to please men of their age to come and suck their-

"Ahem, Mr. Wilson, Good morning." Clown Wilson interrupted the string of dirty thoughts in his mind. Not that he felt that way about these girls but he was trying to 'empathize' for the boys who appear willing to be trapped in them.

"Morning."

"Morning not good?" He showed his extra act off leading to Rob replying,

"Laughing and joking is good. In moderation." His comment was enough to tell the oldie of his opinion.

Yet the stubborn old man had to remain good! "Don't worry about it. Some people take time before getting used to it. I mean getting used to more than just moderation." He slapped his back in praise before taking the attention of kids to himself to continue on the trip.

"Alright, alright, now if you want to do real fun, help me get this attending up quickly. I need you silent and raising your hands one by one to indicate you are present." He searched for someone, "What was her name? Gram?" he called out from the crowd.

"Garima, Sir!" There were few chuckles seeing the elder being scolded for not remembering a name.

"Oh, my apologies, heartiest apologies sweetheart. It takes time to get used to an accent, doesn't it Mr. Wilson?" Rob did not mind the fuss, he just needed to get this over with. And maybe, just maybe he will find a way to keep this Clown away, forever. The more this clown messed his head, the more inclined he was to bury him alive.

Seeing the attention instantly on him, he agreed forthright with a Yeah. As the name counting continued, he did not step back from passing a death glare to that man.

"You don't like him too much sir?" A voice said next to him. Turning to the sound he found a girl standing close to him as if they were friends.

He remembered her name. What was that?

"I think the same too Mr. Wilson. I think you pose the perfect Mr. Wilson, better than him," she had the audacity to wink at him but he did not raise the issue. Else it would come out as if he was being an oldie to object flimsy pranks like that.

"Go ahead and give your count." He told her politely.

He expected the girl to listen to him, as much he noticed, she was among the girls who darted for every chance to flirt him. She took her hair on one side, appearing decent and elderly, paused before going, "What is she doing here? Didn't she say she was not coming?"

He flickered to her speaking something then stared after her line of vision. Then it made sense.

Sweety was clad in an activity shirt and military pants, walking straight to the entrance with all students waiting around.

On cue, her name was asked, "Sweety Roulette?"

"Here!" She raised her hand. Frank Wilson heard the peculiar name querying, "Sweety? Who is this girl? Come forward."

Garima stopped taking names and ticking them as the host intervened.

The presence of Sweety either brought irritation to some like the one standing next to him or made someone happy. He saw the Muslim guy smiling at her. While the majority lot downright ignored, Rob noticed.

"Ah! Your parents were not wrong to name you so beautifully. Will you help me in my event, darling? This needs all your co-operation!" De Wilson cheered the last sentence for all. Sweety smiled gleefully until her eyes met Rob's which squeezed out like a sour lemon.

"Yes sir." Others chorused in answer. Sweety had prepared to not look anywhere close to the Psychology teacher but her eyes went on its own to take just one look of him when he was not looking. Yet to her dismay, his eyes were already on hers before she could take them away, drawing glares into hers.

In the bus, Wilsons sat together which only added to the happening of their names. Rob wondered if this clown was so brainless to not ponder on the coincidence of having a 'Mr. Wilson' already employed where he was raising an event for.

According to his theory, he took the place of a Psychology specialist who was supposed to be employed as a teacher in the school. Still, the man was not behaving a slightest bit doubtful.

"Mr. Wilson, since you are going to help me in this event, I want to acquaint you with some to-do lists." Thinking like a genius, he started, "First thing, we need to observe who all are focused on studying and graduating from school and who all are into new love interests." The part 'love interests' was made uncannily interesting by De Wilson, much to Rob's disgust.

"What will that prove?"

White man shrugged, "Nothing much, just the course of their mind where they are heading to."

Rob inputted all that and thought the positive repercussions from that. Sadly, he could not get to a pleasing point.

Right then, Rob raised a question, "What if someone is into both?"

As soon as he finished, he saw the man becoming upset. No, he was not going to ask him why he was upset. Why does he care?

"What happened?" He managed that much only.

"If what you say happens, it will be really difficult to bring that child into a correct direction. Because their mind is confused."

"Confused?"

"Yes, confused to chose which one deserved to be the correct one for them."

"What do you mean? Aren't you here to ENSURE they all focus in studying and graduating only?" Rob stared at the man who answered him with a goofy smile like hiding a secret for later.

That sneaky fellow, went ahead to ignore him and passed more jokes with the kids.

He knew it.

He bloody knew it!

This man was a disaster!

"...then I went to another function where there was this woman who looked very beautiful. I fell in love with her on first sight and when she opened her mouth with a broken English, I understood the look-like wasn't going to work long-time." He continued mimicking the way broken English was spoken, "Hello! My namees Fortune! Ima--good--you..."

Rob hurriedly took out his phone.

'Any stats for Wilson?' He desperately wanted this man gone. One brush and he could destroy his preparation so far.

'Working on it.' Tyler messaged back.

He was about to write- Do it fast! When Ty added another, 'I thought you told Sweety to not attend.'

Her name was enough to rile up the pressed anger from inside. He hated, really hated when things didn't go his way.

'Well, not that you are her boyfriend to tell her to do things.'

'The next time, don't impose on her, she could get alert.'

His words led him to turn back to the girl he instructed specifically to avoid attending. But there she was, sitting in the corner back, watching out the window.

He kept on staring at her serene face, his glare subsiding eventually. She wasn't smiling, neither was she dressed sultrily but he kept on watching her. Turning back to see ahead, he looked out the window wondering what was it that captured her attention.

Array of trees and fields were so distinct and captivating, he blended in them. He had to agree, her choice was not bad. Much, much better than listening to stupid jokes.
