with glowing Golden eyes that are able to reveal anything beneath its resplendent gaze, Yesfir gingerly raised the downed Halfling so that its would be be able to lean more against the tree's gnarled trunk, careful not to touch The black stains on its tunic.
It wheezed and breath rather roughly, nursing its chest with his small thin arm, Yesfir surmised that she might have fractured a rib or two from her "weak" slap so she felt apologetic but only a little...
The small halfling was doing something dastardly to her unconscious self after all.
Scanning her supposed assailant. its appearance is somewhat a ugly looking Creature with greenish skin and pointed ear, a far cry to the child her sleep addled mind conjured up.
Its sharp canines protruded from its mouth akin to a wild Boar's tusks, Its Bestial looking red eyes glared at her as it sent a slew of unintelligible noises.
fortunately for Yesfir she couldn't understand a smidge of what it said but then again it is quite easy to figure out that it is shouting profanities at the confused fox girl staring at it with scary golden eyes.

"Looks like [Truth Seeker] activated a little differently from what I remember, It never appeared like this before..."
Scanning the Character Menu for the halfing before her, Yesfir couldn't help but crunched her nose in confusion.
"Aldenbaum Kingdom? I've never heard of that place before..."
wracking her mind for answers, Yesfir still hadn't found any clue in regards to this place called aldenbaum. she even tried to recall some of the developer notes she happened to skim through that one time which she doubts she could perfectly recall but as far as her average girl memory goes, the place called Aldenbaum simply didn't exist in Advent Horizon.
"Which brings me to my current problem..." she sighed out.
"I have no clue where to start!" Yesfir Exclaimed out loud startling the halfling into silence.
"think Yesfir, think! what is the first thing main protagonists do in those fantasy Novels you've read so far?" she asked herself while rubbing her spotless chin.
"Wait... don't they get some kind of Divine providence? b-but I haven't received any guidance..." She muttered in incredulity.
"I feel like I got cheated where is my providence Mr. God...Ms. Goddess?..." laughing awkwardly while rubbing the back of her head, she glanced at the halfling once more, feeling an ounce of pity for the sorry state it was in, she let out a sigh before producing a potion from her inventory.
"I am sorry I hit you very hard but then again you kinda deserved it..." she spoke even though she knew that this precocious halfling wouldn't understand and carefully poured the potion's golden contents all over its head.
A standard health potion would be more effective if it drunk orally but with the high grade potion she just used now, it shouldn't be a problem even if its topically applied.
"although drinking it will be much better than applying it like this. " Yesfir added as she turned around and began walking off towards a random direction as her mind quickly shifted to somewhere else, unaware of the miraculous thing that would happen to the halfling who fell into a deep slumber, its body gradually transforming into something else.

In the game World Of Advent horizon, players are given systems to allow them to interact with that World with relative impunity once they reached a certain level thus to balance out the Game and Prevent players from simply Steamrolling everything with their gear and high levels, its Creator device an interesting system for its Monstrous inhabitants.
It is called [Evolution]
[Evolution] occurs when sufficient stimuli is given to a particular monster thus allowing it to mutate and evolve into a stronger form. for example, a monster that survived an injury caused by a bladed weapon will later on become exceedingly resilient to lacerations.
which means that the greater stimuli inflicted on a monster, the Stronger its evolution will be if it manages to survive long enough for it to evolve, this is why monster subjugation quests are treated seriously by the player community of advent horizon once they mke their appearance because if left to their own devices Evolved monsters who managed to survive long enough might become natural disasters that even top players wouldn't be able to contend without sufficient preparation and sacrifices.
all it takes is an outside stimuli to trigger an evolution and as luck would have it. our little halfling is currently undergoing such a phenomena.
Its injury visibly mended as Its vitality quickly skyrocketed beyond its usual capacity. this excess Vitality is then put to use by this world's system as an energy source to fuel the changes within its diminutive body.
its sickly green skin gradually peeled off revealing milky white skin all the while its whole bodily structure began to undergo drastic changes, as an aura akin to the divine began to permeate its surroundings...
Transforming the meadow into something...More....
in the midst of it all a beautiful young girl with black hair and vulpin like ears that spontaneously popped out of her head, opened her eyes in confusion as the girl in her hazy memory was nowhere in sight.
"Master? where are you?"
genuine confusion visible in her amber eyes as she stood up and began wandering around. looking for the girl who had unknowingly came to possess a servant.
