After I told mom and dad we were going out I then told Elyon I was spending the day with my friends. He told me to have fun. I told him I loved him. He sent me a kiss. Then I focused on the girls.
"So guys you want to get lunch first I have to talk to the boss anyway. I kinda freaked her out."
"Yea she said you requested time off. Of course after hearing about your week I can see why. So anyway with the money you have coming do you still plan on working at the diner?"
"Yes, that's one reason I want to talk to her. I want to come back now that my life is mostly under control again."
The girls start smiling then they say," Let's go so we can get to the movie. I hear the new Fast and Furious movie is out, I really want to see some hot men."
"I agree girls let's get going."
Five minutes later we get to the diner. We go to the booth in the corner and sit down. When Cammie comes over to take our order I ask her if she has a minute can we talk. She shakes her head and we head to her office.
"Okay first of all I want to say thank you for being so understanding this last two weeks. Things have been messed up but now I have a handle on it."
"Will you tell me what happened? I was really worried about you."
"Yea okay so after graduating Elyon gave me a wonderful gift. First of all I told you I was adopted. Well I thought he left the day after graduation because of something for his new company, instead he came back four days ago with information about my birth parents.
It was amazing, when you come from money you can learn a lot. I tried for three days and was not able to learn anything, but in four days he learned who my parents were and who their family was. I found out I have an aunt. I got to meet her. We have spent the last few days getting to know each other. Then yesterday I met Elyon's parents. They were passing through on their way to a meeting but they wanted to check on how he has been doing. Then he introduced me to them. Mom and dad got to meet them as well. And let me tell you all of them come from money. The reason he was able to learn about my family was because he had the picture my mom gave me and excellent lawyers. Money does do amazing things. And I have no idea how much money his family has. Also I met my aunt Her name is Ellen. She is a little over five foot tall. She has reddish blonde hair like my mom. She is married with two kids. And she has money as well. I guess as soon as they tests come back and they draw up the paperwork I will have money as well. The first thing we did was do the blood tests, then she had the family lawyer draw up the paperwork from my parents will. Next week I will get to meet my cousins. She is going to bring them here. what questions do you have?"
"First of all its sounds a bit rehearsed there."
"Well to be honest I told the girls the same thing about two hours ago. Since I ran through everything with them I had an idea of what you might ask. But if you have other questions I will answer them."
"First of all I want to say, I'm glad things are going better for you. I really did not like you looking as bad as you did. Secondly Elyon sounds like a wonderful young man I hope you to stay together. And third since you seem to be coming into money do you plan to come back to work or do I need to find a new waitress?"
" Thank you, I do plan to come back to work. That was part of the reason I came in, if it's okay I would like to come back Monday afternoon. The girls think because I have money coming my way I'll forget about my friends and family, but that's not true. You have helped me and believed in me so I won't abandon you. Besides I love my job."
"Oh Sweety of course you can come back next week. I knew you would never abandon me. Have fun with the girls today. I'll see you Monday. Enjoy your lunch."
I give Cammie a big hug and then go eat with the girl's.
After we eat we go to the movies. We watch Fast and Furious 9. We have candy throwing fights. We gossip for a while them We go to the arcade and play games. All in all We had such a great time I was sad to see it end. Both of the girls had to get to work.
Once they went to work I reached out to Elyon. He met me at the park. Then we went back to his house and had dinner.
