It has been a week since we told everyone in town we were getting married. Elyon and I have been working on getting my stuff moved to the house.
Mom and the girls have been working on the wedding things. Because they can't decide on anything and everyone be happy I told them they have till the end of the month to give me three concrete things. The food, the venue, and the music must be decided and locked into place by then. Each person must submit an idea and we decided from there. This plan seemed to help. Now there is less fighting. Now we are just waiting to hear about their ideas.
Today after work I am going to visit my aunt. I shifted again last night. Everything went well. Elyon and I did some running. Since the house he chose is in three acres we have plenty of room to run without being seen by anyone. But I have a few questions.
Once I get to her house I run up and knock on the door. The youngest Annabelle answers the door. I ask if aunt Ellen is home and she takes me to her. Annabelle leads me into the kitchen and then goes to her room. Aunt Ellen turns to me and says," So how was your second shift? Sorry I couldn't get out there Danny is sick."
"Don't worry about it, everything went well. Elyon and I went running. We played hide and seek. I found him twice. I'm getting much better at using my wolf side. Oh and I wanted to tell you I am getting married. Elyon proposed a week ago."
"Oh honey I am so happy for you. It has been a bit rocky but now you should have true happiness. When is the big day? What are your colors? Let's see the ring. What are you doing for food? Oh I love weddings."
"Well we don't have a date yet. Mom and the girls are planning things. My colors are light purple and white. This is the ring and bracelet set he gave me when he proposed. They used to belong to his grandmother. We are having an outdoor Ceremony. My song is going to be the fighter. And I will tell you more once I have more details. And of course you are all invited. But I came to ask a couple of questions. I'm hoping you have good news for me."
"Okay sure. So far what you have gotten figured out is pretty good. I can't wait to go. Now what are your questions honey?"
" First off can we keep this between us. I don't want anyone to know please. I'm sure mom would have a fit if she knew I was even talking about any of this."
"Honey anything you talk to me about will always be just between us."
"Thank you aunty. Now I need to know can a wolf be allergic to condoms? Wait let me start over. A week ago Elyon and I had sex. I freaked out because everyone is telling me I'm to young to get pregnant. Elyon told me I wasn't ovulating but I didn't want to take any chances. The next day I went in for birth control, but within five minutes of taking it I threw up. It happened three days in a row so I stopped taking it. Then I asked him to use condoms. But I think I am allergic to them. The area swells and we can't to anything for about four hours. So we stopped using those. Now we haven't had sex for the last two days and I can't take it. I don't know what to do."
"You had a pregnancy test before you got the pill right? And you threw up as soon as it hit your stomach right. Come with me you need to be tested again."
We go up to her room. She gets into her drawer and finds a test. She has me take it. We don't even have to wait the full five minutes before we see two pink lines.
"So congratulations you are definitely pregnant. Do you plan to keep it? If you do you will have to go to a pack doctor. You won't be able to have it in a human hospital. Are you okay Honey. You should know that even though you aren't ovulating you can still get pregnant. What will you say to Elyon?"
"Okay so there is no way that can be wrong correct? Those lines showed up way to fast. Well personally I am okay with having a baby. It's mom and Cammie and the others I'm worried about. But I know nothing about wolf pregnancy. How long do we carry for? Will it be born human or wolf? What do I have to watch for? Will I have morning sickness? Since Elyon is a vampire how will that affect the baby?"
"Honey I can tell you wolves only carry for seven months. The baby is born like a baby. I know you will crave rare red meat. And you will get dizzy easy. Have you had any dizzy spells yet? Maybe you should go talk to Elyon and see what he wants to do.."
I shake my head no to being dizzy then I say," I think that is a great idea. Can I call you later? I might need someone to talk to because I don't think things are going to go well at all."
"Of course you can call me. Just be honest with Elyon and see what he wants to do. As far as your mom she really does need to remember your not human your more of an adult that people twice your age. Now go on talk to Elyon. Since you intend to spend the rest of your life with him his thoughts on the subject are more important than your mom's. "
I give her a big hug and kiss then I head out the door. I stop at a store before I leave town. I get a new test there. Then I go home. Once I'm home I go strait upstairs. I pull out the test read the box and take the test. Just like at Aunt Ellen's the test goes to double pink in no time at all. I call Elyon into the bathroom. I show him the test. He looks at for a minute then he looks at me again. Then he grabs me and twirls me around the room. I put my hands on his shoulders.
"So does this mean your okay with the results?"
"Of course I'm okay with it. We need you to see a pack doctor. We need to know what a hybrid baby will do to you. I know you Were not to willing to get pregnant but now that you are how do you feel?
I am excited and scared. I'm not sure about you but I want the baby. It might be earlier than I planned but I want to keep it."
"I'm so glad to hear that. I want the baby to. Before we tell anyone we need to see a doctor. I can set up an appointment with the pack doctor is that okay with you?"
I start crying and Elyon puts his arms around me. He holds me till I'm done crying then he makes some calls. He gets me an appointment for ten tomorrow morning.
After that he makes me dinner.
