"It just stings a little bit," Lorcan replied, looking at his fingers that are still on Lydia's hand before he looked at Aeden who had a terrified look on his face.
"Fire hurt you," Aeden said as if he could not believe that the fire that was just dancing on his skin whenever he was angry or too happy hurt his father.
"Yes, it did," Lorcan said, looking straight in Aeden's fearful eyes.
"Aeden," Lorcan called his son and Aeden reluctantly walked towards him. "You have a gift of fire. You can use it to help people but it could also hurt people if you are not careful.
Aeden had a look of confusion on his face. Lorcan and Lydia would give anything just to know what is running in his thoughts but right now they'll just have to be patient.
"But...Mama," Aeden said looking at Lydia then at Lorcan's finger probably thinking that his mama wasn't hurt like his father whenever he was on fire or if he had hurt his mama always.
