The morning was unusually peaceful today. Daniella thought to herself as she looked at the tree that stood at the center of the courtyard. The subtle wind is blowing its leaves making them dance on its branches. The lanterns hanging on its branches were swaying as well making Daniella frown slightly worrying that the lanterns might fall.
"They won't fall," Suddenly, she heard her husband say, making her look at him.
Daniella found her husband just sitting on his usual spot reading the newspaper. It still surprises her that a newspaper still exists in this modern world where all can be now found on the internet.
But then she thought, if there is no newspaper, how is her husband going to get hold of the latest news? She knew Rowan to be a traditional man. He is not as techy as her daughters. Not that he can't but he doesn't want to.
