Dr. Aldrich stared at Briony in front of him through the glass window. He sat in his chair behind the computers he installed inside his own room. The monitors showed Briony's current physical and mental state.
It has been more than two days since his sister brought Briony to him. Since then, he had done nothing but watch her. Or more likely stare at her.
He has many plans for her but until now, he had done nothing but observe her. He knows what she could do. His sister told him. He was not interested in what she could do at first. He believes that what his father was doing was inhumane but he still chose to work for him because of his personal reason.
And that is also the reason why he suddenly changed his mind about her. He is now desperate. That is why he became interested and eager to get her. But when he did, he couldn't seem to do anything but watch her.
