"What's wrong?" Xander asked when he heard Bell's sigh. As soon as he entered their penthouse, he could immediately sense the thick atmosphere.
His wife is in a bad mood.
He wondered what happened during the day. He was at the military base all day and he knew that Bell was at her office. She didn't meet with her sisters nor went to her Uncle's house. That could only mean something was wrong in the office or at home.
Xander knew Bell well. She is a genius in business. It was rare to have a problem in the office unless someone dared to piss her off. But he had learned after a couple of visits to the restaurants that Daniella Villan owned that their employees had nothing but either respect or fear towards Bell.
No one would intentionally piss her off.
That could only mean that something happened at home. Bell doesn't have any reason to be worried about her parents. That leaves him with two.
