In one of the driest areas in Astraea, Brylee appeared in a narrow and deep channel. This was probably one of the most magical places she had ever been in Astraea because the way the rock walls were formed by erosion was simply magical.
The light that comes in from the narrow passage in the ground above her creates an illusion in the arches and spirals of the red rock walls. It was as if it was sand moving in the form of a wave.
But as beautiful as it was, she cannot bring herself to appreciate it. Brylee walked hurriedly into the part of the canyon where she knew they usually took the rogue descendants to make sure that they wouldn't be a threat to other descendants before they were given a cabin to share with other descendants in Astraea.
