Chapter 28 - The High Priestess Only Wore Undergarments (2)

"Warrior, answer me," Yuna could hear the palace maid demanding answers from Min. "All of us will be beheaded if something wrong happened to the High Priestess. She has to be pure, chaste and virgin. No man can touch her without summoning the White Tiger first—"

"We are not in that terms, auntie—" Min paused, realizing his mistake. "I mean, ma'am."

Trying to hide her laughter, Yuna tried to bite her lower lip and just tried to lie low. She was already in an embarrassing situation and did not want to add more embarrassing moments, right?

Speaking of those, she had an experience once. Just when Yuna was a fifteen-year-old girl, and it was her first time entering a big entertainment company in Seoul as a trainee. The day after the news as a trainee came out, seniors at her school started to gang up on her and asked her to come to the rooftop.

Yuna was so scared, but when she went there, she saw a handsome looking senior, who seemed to be a year ahead of her; there were chairs scattered all over, and he sat on the arm of the chair, acting like he was the coolest person in the world.

The only thing that Yuna remembered was his hair was a dandy haircut at that time. He seemed like he was so full of himself and was arrogant. He asked for Yuna's number, and as clever as she was, she gave her friend's number instead.

It was really embarrassing because that senior did not even found his actions embarrassing.

"Explain what the two of you did!" The palace maid demanded, and because of the sudden turn of events, the palace guards turned around to assess the situation. Yuna could already feel the eyes that were staring at her back. "Why did the high priestess faint? Why was she in her undergarments? Why did we hear moaning sighs, earlier?! What did you do to our High Priestess?!"

Yuna clenched and unclenched her fists while maintaining her posture. The whole situation was already getting out of hand. He was worried about the news delivered to the king and her position as a high priestess will be canceled. How will she be able to rise as the white tiger priestess if she won't receive back up from the king?

"Lady Yuna took off her outer jacket and kept on scratching her back and that explains the weird sounds you heard earlier," Min explained, scratching his temples out of nervousness. "She ended up tripping over own skirt and that was why she was lying on the floor."

Silence filled the atmosphere.

Even though Yuna could not see the reaction that the palace guard gave to Min, she can already tell that they did not believe him; after all, it was just a stupid reason!

Song Yuna could not take it anymore. Taking a deep breath, she gritted her teeth and sat up, glaring at the palace maid and palace guards. They were staring at her like she was dead and came back to life.

"I am fine! Min was telling the truth and nothing happened to us!" Yuna yelled as she stomped her feet out of frustration. "All of you, get out!"

Min, the palace guards and the palace maid just blinked their eyes as a response. The palace guards eyes suddenly looked at Yuna from head to toe, and Yuna noticed Min standing in front of her as If he did not want the palace guards to have any lewd thoughts.

He must have been kidding her. He did the same to her as well.

Not like she cared.

"The high priestess ordered you guys to get out," Min told them as he crossed his arms and raised his chin slightly. "I am a celestial warrior that will protect the high priestess from anyone."

Yuna snorted. She could not believe how Min was acting right now. Exhaling deeply, she yelled with all her might. "I said all of you get out! Celestial Warrior Min, you are included as well!"

"B-but," Min was about to protest.

"GET OUT!"

With that single line, all of them went out of the room, and the palace maid closed the sliding door.

Breathing hard, Yuna could not just understand why the people here did not follow what she said immediately. It was her room, a chamber that the king gave to her as the vessel of the white tiger in the future.

She knew she would have to travel across the kingdoms to find the remaining celestial warriors. Bending her upper body down, Yuna grabbed the outer jacket that was on the floor and wore it.

The king already promised that he would take care of Min's mother and her younger sister, Rin, in exchange for finding the other celestial warriors and become the priestess that will summon the white tiger.

One of the palace guards explained to her how celestial warriors came from a starting descendant. Generation per generation, the high priestess can be anyone from her world. But why does it have to her on Earth?

Even though she did not want her best friend to be dragged with all this mess, she suddenly missed her presence. She wanted her to be here so that she could just deal with everything and every one with her.

Harin had always encouraged her whenever she was down and whenever she thought she would not make it. She had always been with her ups and downs in life for nine years already.

She missed her friends and even her mom and dad. And just literally everyone she knew from the real world.

But now, she had to take responsibility for something she did not do.

The whole situation she was in was just depressing, but she had no time for this.

All she could do was sigh, plop herself on the bed; the palace maids prepared earlier and stared at the ceiling.

She noticed a man's figure by the door.

"Min? Is that you?"
