"One, two, three—" Min yelled as his right hand pounced the doors of the prison cell and yelled, "RUN!"
Everything a ruckus. The prison cell that was made up of woods got destroyed in an irregular sphere. Min held Yuna's right hand as they sprinted towards the exit.
But before they could even reach the exit, there were already blocked by a group of palace soldiers. And as both Min and Yuna turned to look behind them, the case was still the same.
As Min tried to let go of Yuna's hand, he tilted his neck to the left and right, showing the side view of his sharp and masculine jawline. He started cracking his knuckles at the same time to prepare himself for the fight that was about to begin.
"O-oh?!" One of the relatively tinier palace guards pointed out Min; he looked terrified of his life. His mouth was trembling, and he kept on mumbling words all by himself. "T-that man is dangerous! He is k-known for being a rebel."
"Rebel?" The head of the palace guards asked, "What do you mean?"
"He has been in and out several times in the prison because of her arrogant attitude towards the nobles," The tiny palace guard shared. "He would always manage to break the prison cell using his right hand and threatened everyone with his position."
"Position?"
"That man is a celestial warrior," The tiny palace guard revealed. "It does not matter how many times that man gets imprisoned. He would always manage to get himself out of the situation and make us get in trouble!"
"So," Min spoke as he spread his right arm to guide Yuna to stand behind him. "Who among you here would want to get beaten up first?"
"I do not care if you are a celestial warrior or not," The head of the palace guard told Min as he raised the spear he was holding. "You are still useless without the priestess of the white tiger! We can beat you to a pulp whenever and however we want!"
"CHARGE!"
"Lady Yuna," Min said as Yuna became frightened with the palace guards charging towards them. "Hold my hand so that you won't fly along with them."
'Fly?' Yuna thought to herself. 'What does that mean?'
But before Song Yuna could speak and as the palace guards were already near, Min held her closer to his body as he bent down and punched the ground. Yuna could feel the intensity of his strength and power that everyone except the two of them flew out in the distance.
Some of them hit were hit on the wall, and some of them were thrown at a far distance.
Most of the palace guards fell unconscious, and Min and Yuna took their chances to escape the place. Yuna thought that her elegant and beautiful face did not suit the overall look of the place.
They were able to buy some time to run for their lives. Min knew there were only a short number of palace guards on duty and only focused on the King and Queen's chambers, the entrance and exit of the palace, and some other notable places.
That was why the princes were always able to sneak in and out of the palace.
The fifth prince was known as a womanizer and alcoholic. At the same time, the 3rd prince was known to travel to different places of the kingdom and help those in need.
The place had many rooms and chambers to enter that when Min heard the palace guards huffing and puffing in a far distance, he decided to enter one of the chambers that he found too quiet and impossible for the palace guards to enter the sacred place.
Or so, it seemed like a sacred place.
Yuna immediately closed the sliding door and took a deep sigh. Yuna found herself laughing at the situation. She wore traditional clothing, but her purse and hair in a bun did not suit the outfit.
She undid her hair and styled her hair into a braid. When she turned around, her jaw immediately dropped. The heavens must have been at their side for a long time.
All of a sudden, she got to know that Min had an existing power to fight or escape anyone who tried to harm them or get in their way. And when the two of them managed to escape the palace guards, they happened to find the statue they were looking for.
"Is this the white tiger statue?" Yuna asked Min, to which he nodded, even though she was already asking the obvious.
The white tiger's statue looked mesmerizing as it resembled the one that she saw in the library when she was still in the modern world. It was made up silver. Yuna could now imagine how a statue of a white tiger could look so beautiful and enchanting at the same time.
The room was big, and every corner of the room was slammed with gold and silver. No light was coming in and out of the room, but it was definitely sparkling with so much worth.
Yuna stood at the center, just a few meters away from the statue. Min did the same and stood right next to her. There was silence in the room. When Min could sense the footsteps that were approaching the door, he grabbed Yuna's hand and hid behind the statue of the white tiger.
She could not count how many times both of them have held their hands together, and for some reason, Yuna did not hate it at all. If she remembered how many times she had to reject every man's advances just to focus on being a trainee and debuting as an idol, then she could have done the same with Min too.
Their faces became so close as they had to make sure to stick together so nothing would be seen from their direction. Yuna remembered the bitter memory of how that jerk of a bastard that Prince Won did to her earlier.
But even though she was traumatized by it, somehow, she did not want to push Min either.
They could hear the palace guard talking outside, "Take a look here in the chamber of the white tiger statue, too. They could be lurking around."
