Min's eyes widened in shock when Prince Won smacked his lips with Yuna's. He watched her slap his face and spitefully said, "How dare you do that to me?!"
"Huh?" Prince Won just stared at Yuna like she was accusing her of doing something wrong. "You did not avoid my kiss that is why?"
"What kind of nonsense is that you son of a—-?!" Yuna became furious, raised her right hand, and slapped him again, but Prince Won stopped her from doing so.
"I kissed you without your permission once," Prince Won suddenly became serious, and the overall atmosphere changed. "So you can only slap me once in exchange. More than that, and I will make sure you can never get out of here alive."
Prince Won raised his chin, challenging Yuna to choose her choices wisely. It was as if his chestnut brown eyes were looking down at her because she was not someone who can level with a prince. One wrong move and her head would be chopped off for messing with the fifth prince.
But instead of fear, a tiny glint of hatred can be seen in Yuna's eyes. It was burning with anger.
"You son of a bitch," Yuna glared at Prince Won as she emphasized every word that came out of her mouth. She clenched and unclenched her fists and breathed hard. "You are messing with the wrong person here. It does not seem like you have manners, so I will be patient and teach you."
Min could see how Yuna inhaled deeply, took a big step forward with her left leg, letting her right foot naturally pivot so that both arms were bent at the elbow and forearms were raised slightly.
Her left fist was higher and farther forward than her right, which was closer to her waist. As she raised her rear leg for the kick, she leaned her upper body in the opposite direction and snapped the leg forward.
As Yuna exhaled, she was able to hit Prince Won with her foot with a roundhouse kick. What she did was a basic step-by-step one but had perfect timing and accuracy.
Prince Won fell to the side, and Yuna let out a satisfied snort. Min approached Prince Won as he crouched and tapped his cheeks, "Prince Won?"
The prince was not able to answer Min because he fell out of consciousness.
"That is what you get for messing up with the wrong lady," Yuna proudly said as she went back to her normal standing position.
Min stared at Yuna with awe. It was the first time that he witnessed a woman with such a cool bravado. There was no limit to her charms; she knew how to do first aid with someone who suffers from a collapsed lung and can even do a roundhouse kick, which normal women could not even do.
She was beautiful and had that feminine facial features. Her doe-like eyes and prominent double eyelids make her look like a goddess. No clothes would not look good on her.
But then again, every human being has a flaw, and even someone like Lady Yuna would have one. It was the fact that luck has never been in her side, and trouble clicks on her like a magnet.
Min could hear footsteps approaching the door. He became so sure that whoever may come out will bring them trouble. Palace guards? Palace maids? The Maid Consort? An official?
They would be dead if they found out they just did a roundhouse kick to the prince. Min could already see the shadows standing behind the door. As far as Min could guess, they were already a combination of all.
Min just stared at Prince Won, who already went to the dreamland. Then to Lady Yuna, who was now slightly panicking after she realized what she did. It was already too late as she already made a fuss.
The people outside slid the door open. Min could see the Palace's Chief of Guards and his subjects and a maid consort outside, bringing a small lampshade with a little fireball in it, which illuminated the whole room.
The chief of the palace guards looked surprised to see Min and Yuna; then his stare went to the floor. All of them gasped when they saw the prince lying on the ground.
"Prince Won!" The maid consort immediately crouched down and held his shoulders, and started sobbing without tears. "Were you killed by this man and woman?"
"Ma'am, you are exaggerating," Yuna calmly said as she rolled her eyes. "He is not dead yet. And besides, bad grasses won't die easily so you can't expect him to die at that age."
"You imbecile woman!" The chief guard of the palace shouted, sliding his sword out of his grasp and leveled the tip on Yuna's neck. "How dare you trespass the palace, speak ill about the prince of the kingdom!"
"Chief royal guard of the palace," Min started to get the attention of the chief and the maid consort and acted like he was crying. "Pardon our intrusion and sudden ruckus that we created but we work from the kitchen and met here because that lady and I had such a passionate love."
Yuna exchanged glances with Min as if she was trying to ask what on Earth was he going to spout again. Creativity in lying co-exists. You have to be more creative but make a lie believable at the same time.
"What does that have something to do with the prince being left unconscious, young man?!" The chief royal guard raised his penetrating voice, "Explain yourselves."
"For some reason, the Prince happened to be here in the library." Min explained, "The Prince kissed my Lady Yuna and because that made his actions upset her, she kicked him in the face."
"I understand," The chief royal guard nodded. "But that did not mean that this woman can kick the prince on his face. And I have not seen the two of you in and out of the palace before. So there is a chance that the two of you are lying!"
'Lying,' Min thought to himself. Yes, they were caught big time. It was a complicated situation to begin with.
"Bring them the two of them to a cell," The chief royal guard looked dazzling with his armors but seemed like a poor judge of character. "We will question them with the presence of the King tomorrow."
As palace guards heard the chief royal guard's command, they immediately held captive to both Yuna and Min.
