Josh and John cautiously made their way up to the duplex, and when they reached the door, they gave it a few polite knocks. At first, no one answered, so Josh put his ear to the door, and that was when he could hear soft voices. Josh removed his ear from the door and stepped back to where John was.
"Are there people in there?" John asked softly. They knew there was someone in there, but the number was beyond them. Josh nodded to his cousin's inquiry but didn't know how many people. "Not sure how many, though," Josh whisper back to John. They waited for another moment before John looked to Josh.
"What do you want to do? Doesn't look like they want to talk with us." John asked, although his voice was more audible than a simple whisper. "Guess we'll just have to keep looking elsewhere for information," Josh replied just as audible as his cousin. All they were doing right now was to get the people on the inside to know they just wanted information.
