"Adrianne!"
Adrianne went back to reality as she heard Seraphine shouting near her. It was eerie as she have not been on her own self these past few days. Adrianne thought that she already moved on from the past.
Past… She tilted her head to the side. A sarcastic smile rose up to her lips as she thought of it. Her family… it was all in the past. Now she have no one to rely on. When was the last time she smiled like that, anyway?
""Pst! Adrianne!"
"Huh?" The little girl was strtled as she answered without knowing what Seraphine was talking about.
"Are you really okay? You've been like this for days already." Seraphine asked as worried laced on her tone.
The woman's brows furrowed as she looked over the kid. She saw that Adrianne was startled by her shout even though the girl tried to hid it. It seems like something is bothering her friend's mind. And she was deeply curious to know it.
