"Reverie…" Desiree said, not taking her eyes off my arm. "Your arm."

I frowned. "Yes, I know. My arm hurts a lot. And how did you know that?"

She couldn't take her eyes off my arm. "We need to do something now," she whispered, but I heard her.

"What?" I said, looking at my arm in surprise. My arm was pitch black, and the virus-like blackness was slowly spreading. "What's going on?"
