"Well, the rain had stopped but the pain was still there."

When I got back to my room, I found maids waiting for me by my bed. "What's going on?" I closed the door of my room and walked cautiously towards them.
"We have been waiting for you for hours, Princess. I hope you are well. It is not befitting of a princess to come to her room so late. I hope you realize your mistake and try not to repeat it again." The oldest maid among them stopped her disapproving eyes at me, and with one hand pointed to the nightgown over my bed. "We'll help you get dressed. Could you please come over?" I laughed, unable to control my anger. I laughed out loud, the room shook.
"Princess…" said the old maid as she walked towards me. "Pull yourself together." I frowned as the laughter abruptly ceased and tilted my head as the old maid came right in front of me. I smiled.
