/A memory of what will happen in the future, from Pars' point of view./

I didn't know where I was. It used to be normal for all I saw to be dark when I closed my eyes, but now my mind was so bright that when I closed them, the darkness I saw was causing the corpses in my mind to resurrect one by one.
There is a belief, you know? If you close and open your eyes a hundred times in a row, you can meet death in the hundredth blink. I tried a lot, but I never wanted to die. I was doing everything out of curiosity, the hunger inside me was not unique to my stomach. I did so much to end that sense of wonder, and finally, in my hundredth blink, I met death.
It was surprised when it saw me, according to it, it was not my time. "I know," I said proudly. "I just didn't want to die without surprising death."
