What was this feeling? Is it normal for my heart to beat so fast? My heart used to beat like this before, didn't it? Was I sick? Why couldn't I breathe? "I can not breathe," I said looking into his eyes. My shoulders were expanding rapidly and I couldn't stand.
He frowned and his eyes swept across my face for a long time. Then a mocking smile appeared. "You're like a child." I frowned too, trying to wipe his mocking smile and scatter his face.
"I was never a child." His mocking smile faded, his eyes languishing. He never took his green eyes off mine for a second.
"As time goes by it gets harder and harder to understand you. Show me a way so I know what to do with you." My forehead was wrinkled and my heart slowed.
