Rionen led her to one of the dummies on the side of the room. Using his finger he drew ovals and x's over the dummy's vital spots. She was supposed to slash the ovals and stab the x's. Rionen observed her doing this for ten minutes. Then he made her stop. Her form was passable as were her slash attacks but her accuracy for the stab attacks was non-existent. Until her stab attacks were more accurate, she couldn't be partnered up.
Next, he tested her fitness. Sky was used to this and surprised him with her speed, agility, and stamina. Lastly, he tested her dodging abilities. Her work with her fans was apparent as she nimbly rolled, cartwheeled, ran, and flipped around the training court. She was even smiling as she did so. Rionen was as well. His attacks kept getting faster until, finally, Bear yelled at him. He hadn't hit Sky once.
Rionen sent her back to the dummy for the last half hour of training while he reported her results to Bear.
