When Sky emerged from her portal, she immediately searched her whole suit of rooms. She found Instructor Drakkon where she'd left him in the hallway. To her surprise, she also found Aven, drenched in blood, lying on the floor of her bedroom. The wall behind him was broken, so she assumed that he'd come in that way, but it was an eight-story height, so she had no idea how he'd done it. Using the spell suspension, Loi, she put Aven on her bed and Instructor Drakkon in her guest bed.
Then she went to her study room, closed the door and braced it with a chair. She began studying again.
An hour later a familiar chiming split the air. This was followed by a grim male voice.
It said, "Any students who can hear this report to the Auditorium. Do not wake anyone else. I repeat, report to the auditorium."
Sky checked on Aven and Instructor Drakkon. They were both still asleep, so she made the portal and stepped through.
