At lunch time Sky was staring down at the premade to-go meals in the display case in front of her. Her shoulders had climbed up to her ears and she was hugging herself around her middle with her left arm. She could feel at least a dozen eyes trained on her back, if not more. And it had been that way since she'd left the classroom. For the entire walk over here it had seemed like everyone she passed would start whispering and staring at her as soon as they noticed her.
Swiping at her sweating forehead, Sky just grabbed a meal and started fleeing back to the classroom. She got three steps and then a female with waving purple hair stepped into her path. The female put her hands on her hips and glared at Sky. Three more females joined her. They were all glaring.
"So you're her?" The one in the middle demanded.
"You don't look so great." Another sneered.
"She looks like an elephant." The leftmost female said.
