I can't feel remorse now. What's done is done. I'll be fighting against the ones I used to call friends. On the side of the villains. The downsides were great, but the benefits were great too. Or maybe I was just lying to myself. Either way, I can't change the past. All I can do is look to the future I already know. And now, I'll become a Chaos Mage. The strongest type of Mage. But the war has already started. How can I get a teacher during this battle? There's one way I can become a Chaos Mage though. If the Gods wanted me on their side, I could tell them to make me a Chaos Mage or I would leave their side and rejoin Kim and Nakatami's. Maybe I should just leave them. But then I'll miss out on the chance to become a Chaos Mage forever. They wouldn't let me become one if I betrayed them. All this time I was thinking, I didn't realize where I was. I was in front of the Gods themselves.
'Greetings, Kento!' A voice rang out.
I tried to detect the origin of the voice and almost gasped out loud. An idle statue was talking to me.
'As you can see, we are in the temple of Gods. I am the Leader of the Council of Gods and these are the members.' The statue didn't move but I guessed that he was referring to the other statues flanking him.
As if he read my mind, he then said, 'As a reward for your loyalty and commitment, you will receive the Innate Skill, Chaos Mage.'
Suddenly, a familiar notification bell rang.
