Wang Zhao stepped inside the Mansion. His heart filled with warmth as a smile made its way on his lips. It was the most luxurious mansion in the whole city and he loved it.
He was proud that he was a member of the Wang Line. He eyed everything as they walked inside to the main hall. He was met with a sight of his mother talking with some servants.
Mrs. Wang's eyes landed on her son. "Oh my god, you're here already!" She ran to him pulling him in for a hug.
He was at peace finally being able to meet his mother after a long time.
"I missed you. This time I won't let you go back." Mrs wang kissed him on his head.
"I won't go. By the way mom, should I go and change first. The suit is not so comfortable." He said with a light chuckle.
Mrs. Wang sighed. "Sure. I will get the food ready you might be hungry." He nodded and his assistant quickly took him to his room.
Wang Zhao noticed that his room was neat and nothing had changed. A thousand memories rushed to his head.
This room was where almost all his childhood was spent. If walls could talk, they would tell you all the secrets he has kept hidden from everyone.
His mind was reminded of Sang Qian again. The last thing that happened in this room before he left was the most annoying person crying to him.
Trying to defend herself. He scoffed when he thought of it. Heaving a sigh he walked around the room and got a bit familiar with it. Later, he decided to take a shower.
After coming out of the shower. He had a bathrobe on. He dried his hair with the towel in his hand. He noticed something. A bracelet hanging on the small lamp caught his eye. It glimmered under the light.
He walked to it and he peered at the diamond bracelet. It was just a thin and fine bracelet with a chained design. It had finely shaped white diamonds embedded in it.
He frowned, it seemed familiar. All of a sudden his brain clicked. He was taken back to the time and a frown was cast on his handsome face.

Four years ago,
Wang Zhao was waiting for his girlfriend. He had to hand the gift to Sang Qian as it was her birthday that day. They were great friends. More like forced friends because their families had a good relationship.
Finally, Mi Chan stepped out dressed in a red dress. She looked mesmerizing. He hadn't seen Sang Qian for quite some time then. He wondered what would she be looking like?
Everyone changes with time. His well-built torso was leaned against the car. He smiled at his girlfriend and when she got in, he circled and hopped inside.
When they finally reached the venue. He noticed there were most of his mates. He kissed Mi Chan on the head lightly before he parted his way, looking for the b'day girl.
His eyes finally fell on a girl dressed in a black silk dress. She looked flawless with her hair parted from the middle and tied in a bun at the back. She looked rather cute and hot.
His stare burned over her. She was not the one to dress like this but he could not deny she looked rather beautiful.
He cleared his head of those thoughts and approached her. She looked at him with eyes full of surprise. "Oh my god! I didn't think you would come." She chided.
He nodded. "Happy birthday." Handing her the small box, he smiled politely.
She smirked, "Is it a ring, that you finally decided to propose to me?"
"Stop it already." He scoffed.
She clicked her tongue and opened the box which revealed a beautiful bracelet. It was clear on her face that she wasn't expecting it at all.
Her smile faded away lightly and she returned the box in his hand. "It's a bit too much. Just you attending the party is enough for me." She smiled back politely.
He sighed. "It's from Dad. And I wouldn't have been here unless he insisted." Wang Zhao cut her off in a calm tone.
Sang Qian still smiled, revealing her white teeth. He looked away, his eyes searching for his girlfriend, ready to leave. He was about to, when Sang Qian stopped him. "Help me put this on."
He paused and turned his stare towards her, trying to read her intentions. She had always been bold and outgoing. She had never once cared about anyone. Her shameless and fearless attitude was something that impressed him and pissed him at the same time.
He didn't know why, he simply agreed. Grabbing the box he unpacked it. Holding her hand lightly he pulled her a little closer as she was standing a little away. Then he slowly locked the bracelet in place. Sang Qian's face was rather full of surprise and happiness.
She sighed, "Thank you." Caressing the bracelet, she smiled at him. "You can go now. You don't have to waste time here."
He nodded his head plainly, but he didn't miss the satisfaction on her face. He felt a weird feeling creep inside of himself. He walked away from her and greeted a few of his friends.
(BACK TO PRESENT)
That small interaction was the start of everything. A journey of hate and stupidity. But he knew, she adored the bracelet more than anything. The last time they met before he left, she was even wearing it then. Why was it in his room then?
He blinked, he had zoned out completely. His eyes were cold and his heart twisted looking at the bracelet. It had lost the shine and probably needed repair.
The scenes he had witnessed with his eyes about her caring for this little present from him, were still vivid. It was kind of weird.
Something inside of him told him, that wasn't right. He placed the bracelet in his wallet and then changed into a fresh set of clothes. He decided to take a stroll around the mansion before having his food.
The mansion had not changed much. The main hall was big and broad. The kitchen and other areas like the pool, gym and garden were on the backside. The first floor had rooms for members and two guest rooms. The second floor had an open view garden and a sitting place with a big library.
Once he was done refreshing his memories. He finally decided to go downstairs and noticed his brother running towards him, Wang Yuhan.
His brother had grown into a young man. Wang Zhao was five years older than him. He turned 30 this year, and Wang Yuhan was just 25.
Wang Zhao smiled, "You have grown up now."
Wang Yuhan winked. "C'mon brother, I met you just a week ago."
Wang Zhao laughed lightly. "Oh damn I forgot. Anyhow, let's eat. I am famished."

Sang Qian looked out of her office window. The View in front of her was beautiful. It was already late at night but, she didn't feel like going home. She dialled her best friend's number.
"hey!" She heard an excited female voice from the other end.
Sang Qian's face was gushed with an instant smile. "Hey babe. When are you coming back this time, I am so bored here all alone."
She heard a sigh on the line. "I am QIN SI, the queen, I do what I like. Just kidding, I am coming back next week."
Sang Qian nodded her head even though Qin Si couldn't see. "Ok girl, I am waiting. By the way, your favourite cousin is back."
"What?! That bastard said his flight was next month and he is already there? I have to give him a lesson when I get back!" Qin Si screamed through the phone.
Sang Qian chuckled. "Alright, Don't be angry and I seriously am so excited to see you, it's been a year since I saw you girl. Come back already!" She heard a fake sob from the other end.
"Me too. I miss you every day and every night." Qin Si's voice was loud enough to be heard from a distance.
Sang Qian rolled her eyes. "I will call you when I reach my apartment. I already have energy after talking to you for a minute, now I can drive safely." Ending the call she picked up her coat and walked out of the office.
With every step, she was feeling every moment of herself walking like a queen. A Queen who walked through the hallway. She was much more capable and deserving.
Why did she have to be sad just because one person never understood her? She had respect, protection, will power to win over this world, then why was she being so lost all these years.
Realizations kept hitting her like a brick. She was such a fool to waste her time on him. Her face was stoic, It's finally the time to prove herself.
This time she will make sure, he regrets all he did to her in the past. She will make him realize that he judged her wrong, she wasn't that weak.
