[Spirit Destruction]
Although it's just the tenth of Ellie's multiplier, Elihim's strength, focus, and efficiency were greater. Therefore, with his one arm, it was like he was cutting the clouds into half and then half again and then half again. But this was still not enough as it would still destroy everything in its path.
But since the first halving is the hardest, the burden becomes lighter and lighter as he cut the storm into halves.
In the end, the storm was only seven percent strong compared to its original strength. But comparing it to the upcoming storm if Elihim and Ellie didn't meddle, it was at least five times stronger.
"You did it!"
Ellie didn't know what happened but it seemed that Elihim saved the day. But the truth is that they have created a monster in the sky. It will drift above the West Green and maybe, even disturb the North and South Cold Mountains as it reached the border of the Death Palace.
It will be a calamity.
"Yeah, we did it!"
Elihim smiled as if he did something heroic. But this is only a front for Ellie to see. In truth, there was something that weighed his insides down.
'Those minerals were not enough to produce such result...'
"Let's go home and wait for the result."
Elihim said which Ellie followed.
'What is something that I own in this world? Something non-living, physical, and valuable that lies under the ground... I have no idea...'
But Elihim stayed calm. That valuable something was used. He doesn't know what it was but it's now gone and it almost destroyed the whole world. Even the strong wind that the first storm had brought was still around.
This strong wind has even reached the East Green where Reland's first kingdom lies, the Erjessian Kingdom of the East Green. King Erjen II has felt this strong wind and they all have determined that it came from the west even without using any tools.
In the whole Reland, the East Green was the most advanced as they already have concrete roads for strange vehicles to travel on. Houses were made out of concrete as well while there were poles in every hundred meters which were connected by black wires.
With the sudden wind, these poles were uprooted. Structures that were built close to each other have caught fire and the strongest Water Imagis have responded.
When the smoke have finished, there were still a few tornadoes that lingered and Wind Imagis countered them.
King Erjen II looked at what his father built from nothing. In just one moment of rest, it was all taken down.
"Did it come from the Death Palace?"
He shivered and immediately sent men to investigate. West Green is much more inferior to East Green. The percentage of Imagis there was considerably higher. Excavated past artifacts have been studied and applied as present technology. The economy was so rich that any resident in the East Green has rarely skipped a meal. It was a paradise in Reland. An ever-growing one.
But that one single moment...
King Erjen II didn't want to think about it that much as he felt he will die from anger and grief. The most frustrating part was that he did not know how did this happen or where.
But it was not completely hopeless. He ordered all the officials to execute Project Recovery as soon as possible after all lives were saved from this disaster.
And... that was the minimum damage.
From where the wind began, with structures less fortified, civilization was greatly reduced in the West Green. At least a tenth of all Verdents and Shorepeople have died while some lives were lost in the Cold Mountains both North and South.
Once they were home, Elihim glanced and saw that some areas near their home went bald. However, their mansion was untouched as if the ferocious wind didn't even touch it.
Looking around, there were also cracks on the ground. It seemed that the minerals have become a foundation underneath too.
'Are the minerals here actually that valuable in Reland?'
Elihim thought in his head. After all, the rarer it is, the more value it has. And since this world's technology was lacking, in Elihim's knowledge, gems and golds should still be very rare. Maybe that's the reason?
He doesn't know. Without data, no matter how much Elihim calculate, he wouldn't be able to get the actual results. If only there was an intelligence center around here which he can buy information. Or even a library is fine too.
'No...'
Elihim reminded himself that it was unnecessary. No matter how valuable golds and gems are, they shouldn't be able to produce such results. Even Merim could give out eight pieces of gold for the sake of getting answers from Elihim, is Merim actually the richest person in the world? That shouldn't be the case.
'But I didn't find any unique minerals... how on heaven did I have another possession here? under the ground, non-living, valuable, and physical... if it's in another world, I have a lot of things like my buried Cosmic Spear in the World of Faith. It would be enough to blow the whole world away and it would still be a drop in the bucket as a whole. Meaning, it shouldn't also be it. What is it?'
While Elihim finds an answer, the West Green has entered the dark age in a single moment. And it was still not the end of it. The Storm and the Flood have yet to even start.
Back to the East Green. while the council was in the middle of their meeting with King Erjen II at the highest seat, the Minister of Artifact Retrieval Department has received a piece of news.
The Minister didn't need to take the attention of the king. His unbefitting reaction had already entered everyone's vision.
"What is it, Minister Rhokang?"
"Your Highness... the... the Spear of God in the Sacred Cave has disappeared..."
All the ministers froze upon hearing those words. They were in a state of disbelief first before they all looked at King Erjen II who have coveted that unretrievable spear for the longest time. His face was the darkest it had ever been.
