When David begged him to spare his life, Kayden let him go.
David fell on the ground and began coughing. His neck now had imprints of Kayden's hand. Everyone was shocked.
"I … I am sorry, Ms Ava. Please forgive my mistakes," he apologized.
Ava was impressed with what Kayden had done for her.
David was then suspended from the school.
The school day ended with a happy ending.
They all returned to their respective dorms, except for Ava.
In a room, Ava was sitting on the couch and was waiting for someone.
And then the door opened and Mr Blake entered the room.
"Hello, Uncle Blake. You are late," she said.
"Hello, my niece, how was your first day at the Mutant Heroes Academy?" he asked.
"It was amazing. I met Kayden. He's such a good person," she said.
"Yeah, I know right. He's a really good person. So do you like him?" he asked.
"I don't know," she replied, "Maybe, I kind of like him."
"Ava, I have arranged for your personal villa in the academy as you had asked. So will you see it now?" he asked.
"No need. I will live in the student dormitory. Could you please arrange a room for me in the student dormitory?" she asked.
"Oh, Ok. I'll have it arranged. You can live in the room beside Ms Emily's," he said.
"That will be good. I can keep an eye on her. In case she does something to Kayden," she said.
"Ok now, I'll leave from here," Mr Blake said as he left from there.
Ava then headed towards the student dormitories.
When she rang the doorbell, the door was opened by Shelly.
"Hello, Ava, you are going to live in the student dormitory?" she asked.
"Yes, I am," Ava replied.
All the others were chatting in the living room inside.
When they heard the noise coming from outside, they all rushed out to see who it was.
Kayden came out too. He was surprised when he saw her.
"What are you doing here?" he asked.
"I am going to live here," she said.
"I thought you were going to live in some villa in the campus," he said.
"Well, I was going to, but how can I live there alone, when all of my friends are here," she said.
"I doubt you came here for me and Simon. You must have come here for Kayden. Am I right?" asked Emily.
"Yes, you are right," she replied.
Kayden was shocked. Was she serious?
Well whatever, as long as she didn't disturb him during it wouldn't be much of a problem.
Ava went to her room and settled in.
Kayden changed into his training attire and ran to the training grounds.
He was now ten minutes late for training.
He ran to the training grounds were Professor All Might was waiting for him.
When he reached there he didn't find him.
Then someone tapped on his shoulder. He was scared.
He turned around to see who it was. It was none other than Professor All Might.
"Hello, Kayden kun, aren't you late?" he asked.
"I'm sorry, professor," Kayden apologized.
"It's alright. I know what happened. You have just entered the academy and you have already got two girlfriends. You are indeed talented. Come on, let's get you trained. By the way what was your quirk?" he asked.
"My quirk is Perfect Mimicry," Kayden replied.
"Mimicry? What do you mean?" he asked. "I can imitate any of the quirks and techniques I have ever seen in my life," Kayden replied.
"Whoa that's amazing," the professor added, "Now let's get to training."
They then began the training as Professor All Might had planned.
To control his powers to the extreme he needed to train his body properly.
He trained with the professor for an hour.
It was around six o'clock when the training ended.
He ran back to the dormitory. When he rang the doorbell, Shelly opened the door.
"Welcome back, Kayden. Where were you?" she asked.
"I was training in the training grounds with Professor All Might," he replied.
Everyone knew about the professor being his personal tutor.
He then headed in. When he went inside, he was welcomed by Emily and Ava.
"You are sweating a lot. Why don't you go and take a bath? We have all already bathed. It's your turn now," she said.
He agreed and then headed to the bathroom. After a while he came out of the bath, fully refreshed.
He then wore a red t-shirt and black pants. He then headed down to the living room.
Everyone was now busy watching TV.
"What are you all watching?," he asked.
"The latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie is going to be premiering on the TV after five minutes. Why don't you come and join us?" asked Simon.
"Yeah. I'm coming too," he said as he joined them in watching the movie.
The movie was fun and exciting.
After the movie ended, they all headed towards their respective rooms but Emily was not experienced with being up for so long had fallen asleep on Kayden's shoulders.
Kayden didn't want to disturb her sleep.
So he thought it was better to take her to her room.
When he told others that he would leave her in her room, Ava became jealous and thus stepped forward and told him that it was not required as she would take her to her room herself.
Ava then took her to her room and then dropped her on the bed.
"How dare you try to take advantage of my Kayden? Humph," she whispered.
She then left the room and then returned to her own room.
She drank a sip of water and then went to bed.
However, she couldn't sleep at all.
No matter how hard she tried, when she closed her eyes, Kayden appeared in her mind.
Had she developed feelings for him?
She didn't know.
