"Thana Davis?"
Madam Teresa is confounded with wonder upon catching Thana in the middle of the hallway. She had been so busy catching up with her work that she would sometimes forget to concern herself regarding the new girl she found by the woods.
They both started walking slowly toward each other and even as they were still quite a distance apart, Madam Teresa already bombarded Thana with questions.
"What are you doing up here? Did you manage to get lost? Where is Jade?"
"I accompanied Princess Beatrice back to her chambers because of an accident. She was summoned back into the dining hall by a soldier, and she left me here," Thana explained quickly.
Madam Teresa found it quite difficult to follow such a vague explanation but she could not help to repeat the name that caught her ears, "Princess Beatrice coming from the Kingdom of Cidias? How on earth were you with the princess?"
"It's a long story."
