"That is Jamie Nielsen, one of the cooks in this kitchen with his partner, Theodore Reed. They're the only ones in charge of the stove and the oven," Jade quickly takes over the introduction before anyone can utter any word.
Jamie releases his soft grip from their long handshake, but both hold friendly smiles on their faces. Thana then shifts her attention toward the three women.
"Among the ladies, we have the head of this kitchen, Madam Harriet, and the lovely sisters, Lottie and Lila. Everyone, she's Thana Davis, and she will be working with us from this day onwards. Please be kind and patient with her."
"It is lovely to meet you," grinned the girl with braided hair, Lottie, as she greeted from across the room. Thana nodded, returning the smile that she had kept on her face since meeting Jamie. She did not want to speak as she observed everyone.
