The weekend had arrived, and Shu Xian found herself immersed in the familiar hum of domestic chores. The laundry machine whirred softly in the background, a gentle rhythm that had become a part of her daily routine since moving into her new place.
Wan Wan, her loyal Samoyed, had found a cozy spot in the living room, his snowy coat fluffed as he drifted into a peaceful slumber.
"Wish I'm a dog for now… just barking and sleeping and eating… and acting cute… not having this mixed surge of emotions."
Shu Xian sighed, her thoughts drifting to Pan An, the one person who seemed conspicuously absent from her new life. He told her that he would be busy talking to his mother and his older sister about important stuff… and promised that he would spend more time with her if he is finally free.
