Professor Pan An strode into the classroom, a smile on his face as he greeted his students. They all stood up and returned his greeting in unison. He made his way to the front of the room and began his lecture on different methods of assessing student learning.
The students listened attentively, reciting and taking notes as the professor spoke. He talked about various methods such as written assignments, tests, and presentations.
He also stressed the importance of using rubrics to ensure objective grading and gave examples of effective rubrics he had used in the past.
As he finished his lecture, Professor Pan An introduced the activity for the day – a surprise quiz. The students groaned and grumbled, but he reassured them that they had all been preparing well and that they would do great.
