A few minutes earlier. (Joe POV)
When I had a beer, I started drinking it. As I was doing it, Matt looked at me, and then he started questioning me. While hearing Matt's questions, I started answering them, but at one point, I needed to stop as the music become too loud, and I couldn't hear him.
While this has happened, I looked at him, and as he drank his beer, he walked to the parquet. While seeing it, I slowly drank mine while looking at the crowd. When I was doing it, I could see that many people were dancing there and slowly the parquet started becoming full.
'So many people, and too loud music,' I said to myself while slowly ending beer. When I was doing it, I had almost done it, and while I couldn't see Matt anywhere, I looked around, and then I saw a face which I don't want to see, Anabel, 'and here I need to meet her,' I said to myself, and as she still walked inside I ended beer, and then I walked to use the bathroom. When I was there, I have done what I need, and I washed my hands and I walked out with hopes that I will not see her face ever again. As she begged me to be my girlfriend, and when I accepted her just before this faithful day, she dumped me just after it.
When I slowly started walking to the bar, I could see a woman walking out from the parquet, and as she started falling on the ground, I catch her, and when she looked at me, and then she said: "Joe, what are you doing here."
"I had come for a drink," I said to the boss which I hold by her tummy. When I was doing it, other girls come, and when one of them looked at me, she said, "Meg, are you all right."
"Yes," the boss said to her, and when she moved up, she looked at me, and then she walked away. While seeing it, I come back to the bar while looking at where Matt is.
In a private room. (Megan POV)
When I come there, I looked at Natasha and Nicole, and then I could hear Natasha's voice, "what a sexy person, maybe I should eat him."
"Get away from him," I said.
"Oh, Meg is in love," Nicole said while looking at me. When she was doing it, I walked to my place, and when I sit, I drank the rest of my cocktail, and then I said, "he is my assistant."
"Say what?" Nicole and Natasha said.
"Yes," I said.
"So he is this new one," Natasha said, and when I looked at her, I said, "in your company, you had many nice faces."
"Oh, come on, I can't go with models," Natasha said.
"But still, Meg, your reaction to Natasha's words were so suspicious," Nicole said.
"Oh, Meg, words about whom," Paula said while coming in. While hearing her words, I shake my head, and then I said, "nothing."
"Come on," Paula said.
"Something interesting happened," Sofia said while coming with the rest of the girls.
"I meet Joe here," I said.
"Oh nice," Sofia said. While I looked at her, I said, "no, it's not."
"Come on, he has deserved a break, and he is here," Sofia said.
"But you should know his situation," I said.
"Yes," Sofia said, and when she walked to the window, she looked around, and then she said, "someone is with him, men, and he is paying for drinks."
"Oh, probably his friend," Alice said, and when she looked more there, she added, "but from here, I can see that your assistant look nice."
"You have your fiancé, so don't look at him," I said.
"I'm just joking," Alice said.
"Should I call for him?" I asked.
"They are in the next room," Sofia said.
"So boys are having their night," I said.
"Yes, but they don't drink as they are drivers," Natasha said.
"OK, so let's drink, and maybe we will go again there," Ann said, and when I looked at her, she started ordering once again drinks. While seeing it, I take a deep breath, while knowing that tomorrow, I will have a hangover.
Downstairs. (Joe POV)
When I sit and drink one more beer which Matt ordered, he received a phone call, and as he once again disappeared, I slowly drink it, while not caring about anything here, but still, I had in my head that the boss was here. When I was thinking about it, I had done my second and last beer as I know that I can't drink any more than I will be drunk.
When I looked around, I could see Anabel coming here. While seeing her, I turned away, and when I started looking around, I could hear her voice, "so you are here loser."
"Are you talking to me?" I said to her.
"Yes, you loser," she said, and when she takes the beer, which she ordered, she pours out it on me. While feeling that I'm fully covered by it, I looked at her and then, I tried to walk away. While I was passing close to her, I received a kick in my knee, and while feeling it, I go down on the floor. While being there, she said, "and you should be here".
When she said it, she one more time kicked me on it, and as I tried to get up, she steps on me, and while laughing, she walked away. While feeling pain, which almost kills me, I slowly get up, and while seeing nobody, who I know around, I slowly jumped to the bathroom to wash my face, and then go back home, as Matt probably disappeared somewhere.
On the top floor. (Megan POV)
When I observed what was happening, I could see what has happened downstairs, and while seeing it, anger started rising in me. While it was happening, Sofia said, "help this guy on the floor".
When I looked at her, she holds her phone, and when she hangs out, she said, "Kevin will go there."
"OK," I said to her, and when I observed the girl who has done this to Joe, I could see that she walked away. While seeing it, I looked at Alice, and as she was on her phone, she said, "I can't see her face."
"OK," I said, and as I looked at Joe, slowly disappearing into the bathroom, I could see that Kevin is going there. While seeing it, I looked at girls, and then I drank the rest of my drink while slowly rage started coming to me.
When I had done this Nicole, ordered one more, and I started drinking while trying to calm my rage as I hate when someone is doing something to my workers, and as Joe is one of them and what is more important, he is working just under me. I know that he is loyal and helpful this hit me much more than when I can see another one, which I know, and they work for me. While having this feeling, I looked outside while starting to be nervous don't know why.
