Inside the Mystery Auction House, there were a few people that were already sitting inside and the three could recognize all of them who actively took part in the event and all of them had the same logo as the three possessed.
They sat down and waited for a few minutes as a few more people entered the hall and a lady NPC stepped on the stage in front of them.
The Auction Hall looked like a large theater with an upper deck for those audiences who took part in a higher place.
There were 7 closed rooms surrounding the Auction Hall which were the VIP areas for those who had the highest privilege to take part in the Auction, mostly those distinguished NPCs and Players can only use the rooms.
Even though Urie gained more than a million points, he still doesn't have the privilege to get one of those rooms since those are only opened when a large auction event could happen and a few representatives from different towns and cities were attending.
Obsidium Town was known to all as the town having the most secretive Auction House that no one has the privilege to know the auctioned items beforehand.
"I wonder what could be the items that will be auctioned today?" One man in front of the three asked the one beside him.
The lady in front looked at all of them as she smiled and the man's query was answered by a mail that was sent to all of them.
It was the catalog of the Auction which will be automatically deleted right after the auction. All the descriptions of the items were written there, but they didn't have any idea about the look or the name of the item.
The purpose that they made the catalog that way was to avoid people sending out information outside the Auction House and when the event starts, there will be a barrier that will isolate everyone from the outside.
Since the currency depends on the points and not on coins, they couldn't ask for any help from the people outside to back them up.
"How unfortunate! I thought that we would have a chance to get the last item!" A man sighed as soon as he saw the starting bid for the last item.
"Ha! Ha! I have a chance to get that last item!" Blue Liquor boasted as soon as he saw the starting bid of the item.
"If I were you, look at other items. I'll be the one who'll get that item!" Urie warned as he scanned through the catalog with a creepy smile.
"Blue, if I were you, I'd listen to him! If he already wore that murderous grin on his face, he was serious about having more than a million points!" Arie patted Blue Liquor's shoulder and sighed.
"You mean that he really gained more than a million points during that battle?" Blue Liquor unbelievably asked, but when Arie seriously looked at him and nodded in response, he already believed him and looked for other items that he can bid with.
"Everyone! Welcome to the Mystery Auction!" the lady shouted as a barrier expanded from the stage towards the outside of the Auction House, the sign that the auction was starting.
"For the first item…" The lady explained the details about a certain pellet that can help a beast achieve an evolution. It's not a guaranteed success but it could help any beast increase their chances of evolution.
Beast evolution is not a guaranteed phenomenon since they need a specific time, place, and situation for their evolution to happen.
The pellet can help boost these chances up when the beast was evolving, but the phenomenon doesn't suit the evolutionary requirement.
When the gavel of the lady standing on the stage struck three times, the pellet was sold to a guy a few rows away from the three.
"That's the first item out!" Blue Liquor casually said, as he scanned through the items and marked all the items that he wanted to bid for.
Urie and Arie did the same as they marked all the items that they'll bid for and compare their selection to see if they had some items that they took common interest.
The auction kept ongoing and they all bid for the items and cards that they want to get, though they have enough points to waste, they gave up some items that they didn't need immediately and went to those that they can use for a long time.
So far, before the last item was displayed, Blue Liquor successfully bid for a blue necklace that boosts his affinity towards the Water Class beasts.
He also got a mutated Cooleorine, a beast that looks like a lion but with seaweeds as its mane, but the end of its tail looks like a turbine and sparks can be seen seldomly emitted from its body.
Arie, on the other hand, won an armband that has an ability to charm Grass and Air Class beasts. It was made by the Ancient Elves clan for the members of the higher hierarchy.
He also won the Magister's Cloak that helps him adjust to the temperature of the environment just like how Urie's Cool Red Jacket functions but the difference is that the Magister's Cloak has the elemental resistance function.
It can negate tremendous damage from the attacks coming from Air, Water, Fire, Earth, Ice, Grass, and Lightning.
Urie bid for three items so far, 2 Epic Beast Cards and a pair of earrings.
The beast cards were Goomion and Saphiroth.
Goomion was a Psychic - Magic Class beast that resembles a floating goo-like ghost. It can possess items and leave ectoplasms (Ghost Goo) on those items after possession.
Saphiroth was a Magic - Light Class beast that resembles a humanoid eagle beast that has a pair of glowing yellow wings and possessing a spear that can pierce through the hardest steel.
The last item that Urie got was the Earrings of Sylph.
It can extend the wearer's sense of hearing to the point that a single rustle of grass can be a melody of thousand instruments in an orchestra.
