"That confirms it!" Mayumi suddenly voice out

"We're lost" I confirm
"Could it be Akane you are bad with direction?" Fiona ask
Akane was breaking in a cold sweat. She has a lot of pride and a dishonest personality and maybe that's why she would not admit her flaws.
A few hours earlier…
We have now arrived at the borderline. It was just a 10-minute ride.
"Good luck on your test girls," the instructor said
The girls get their luggage in a carriage which isn't much because most of their luggage was stored at Koharu's storage magic.
Akane was leading the way since she was the one who was given a map by Instructor Ezra. She is pretty confident so we just let her. However, as time passed by. I can't help but feel like we are lost. We haven't even reached the 4-major lands yet but the trees were already so tall, thick, and lush that it covers most sunlight.
"Hey, Akane is this the right direction?" I ask her
"Yeah!" she confidently replies
5 minutes passed…
"Is it just me? I feel like we have already passed this" Fumiko voice out
"Just follow me!" this time becoming less confident
10 minutes passed …
"We are just going in circles," Fiona said
"…" Akane didn't say anything
20 minutes passed…
"That confirms it"
And that's how we got lost in this forest…
"We're lost aren't we?"
"We're lost"
"Could it be Akane you are bad with direction?"

We look towards Akane who is now breaking a cold sweat. She then said:
"That's weird! I made sure to follow the map"
"A-KA-NE~," Fumiko said Akane's name with emphasis on each syllable.
The poor Akane got scolded by Fumiko. Just as I said before, Akane and Fumiko got close to each other. Akane was forced to kneel on the ground with a demonic Fumiko in front of her.
Looking at the situation, I couldn't help but sigh
"Miko, Stop it. We better get moving before it gets dark" I interjected in the conversation
Akane looked at me with a bright face and I just give her a small smile which went unnoticed by her.
"Give me the map"
Akane did what she was told and hand the map over to me. I was thinking for a minute and remember the anime that I watch with Hina before. I remember it because it was cool.
'I can try those, this is a fantasy world anyway'
"Navigation"
I said the word and cast the spell on the map. The map glow for a moment and after the glowing effect dispersed. The once ordinary map now has a lot of dots in it with green, blue, and red.
You can classify this map as an enchanted map now.
The map can be seen having dots on it. It has a Green Dot which signifies the holder of the map, a Blue Dot which signifies a living being with no hostility, Red Dot signifies a living being with hostility.
I give the map to Akane.
"Here. Now lead the way"
The girls give me a confused look and Akane looks at the map. Surprise.
Before Fumiko and the others could retort. I open my mouth and said.
"I'm sure you can read it now right?"
Koharu then proceeded to explain what the dot means. We proceeded in the direction that we were supposed to take.
After some time, we finally got out of the forest. It was already sunset when we got out into the forest because it appears to be that we are going in a different direction before. And… it was not easy I say. That forest is so thick and lush. We also constantly getting attack by a beast/monster living in the forest. To add to it, the forest was mountainous to the point that the forest has many steep and uneven lands.

"Finally" Fiona mumbled in her breath. It was hard walking to an elevated land. Especially if you aren't well trained like me who is supposed to be a support/healer.
I look up only to see a scenic view. We found a place that looks magical. The water flowing down into the ground like a water sprout, and the rest of the pool was as clear as cellophane, enabling one to see the rocky bottom. It didn't stop there the water flow down was also creating a cascade in the bottom. Outside the waterfall were 1 inch taller grass and a large rock
"Beautiful"

I heard Fiona muttered. My group seems to be enchanted by the scenic view. So, when I recovered. I look around and saw that aside from beautiful scenery was a never-ending wasteland.
Around 1km from a waterfall was nothing more than a wasteland. The terrain was nothing but brown with a small crater here and there. It also has cracks and it looks like it experiences drought.
Then, around 20km from here seemed like another forest with a different color?
It goes like this:
Green || Blue || Red || Brown
I quickly concluded that it was the 4 major-lands
'It seems like we have a wasteland to transverse tomorrow'
I look at them who were still in awe and admiring the scenery.
"Alright, We have a wasteland to transverse tomorrow so let's set up camp here before the night falls"
I said and quickly getting the girl's attention. They look at me confusingly and I pointed my hand in the direction of the four major lands. Seems like they didn't notice the never-ending wasteland since they were admiring the view.
They look to where I pointed and the awe expression they have before was quickly replaced with despair. Yes, the wasteland won't have that many monsters but it was hard to travel because it has no shade nor water that you can use to take a rest, and surely the heat of the sun will be directed towards you.
After checking the surrounding, they quickly set up their camp. Well, they didn't technically set it up but instead, Koharu just take out 4 tents from her storage magic and it's done.
After the shelter is done.
Akane went to the woods to gather dry woods and light it up to serve as a campfire. Koharu takes out the orc from the storage magic and builds a temporary solution for cooking. The orc was then dismantled by Fumiko and Mayumi. Then, Fiona roast the Orc meat. Making a Roasted Orc Meat.
Fiona can make anything at her desired dishes since I make sure to buy seasonings and kitchenware to the capital the day before the mission.
The girls quite have a luxury food for a camp when normally, Adventurer only get a hard bread and water, and if lucky and hunted something before dusk they might have to cook the things they hunted but such case depends on luck.
Why not carry a beast/monster corpse that they hunted during the day? Well, it will only hinder their movements and slow them down. Why not bring a portion of meat from the hunted animal? It will rot and it will smell bad like really bad.
Anyway, after they eat their luxury dinner. They finally go to sleep and of course not after when Koharu cast a protective barrier around them that covers and protects their camp area.
