The Snoaxe add more force to the club and Fumiko got send back meters away.
It is not just that the problem but also the fact that they have tough skin that couldn't easily pierce through the blade.
As the blades and magics continue to clash. The Snoaxe was slowly overwhelmed by the magic and blade of the five human girls.
Take note that the Snoaxe is a B+ monster even A-Rank adventurers have trouble defeating it.
This girl isn't just a human girl but a group of geniuses. They are strong individually but even more so when they are in sync.
There is no blind spot at the girls since Fiona always watch the girls' back and provide a defense at an unexpected attack and enhancement to the girls.
Just like when Akane cast a fireball spell but was caught off guard when the opposing enemy suddenly uses water magic to counter her spell and when Akane was about to be hit by the spell. Fiona quickly cast an Earth Wall to prevent Akane from getting hit.
Akane was also supporting Fumiko and Koharu at the side. Firing a different kind of spell at the enemy and providing Buffs and debuffs.
Mayumi was focus on dealing heavy damage to the vital parts of the Snoaxe that will disable them.
Fumiko and Koharu on the other hand was busy charging at the opponent and defending their attacks so they won't get close to the other 3.
「 [Nature Bind] 」[Akane]
Akane cast the spell nature bind to keep the smaller one in place.
「 [Magical Enhancement] 」[Fiona]
Fiona cast an enhancement on Akane to further enhance the bind. Akane's [Nature Bind] is stronger than your average [Nature Bind] but the Snoaxe was also strong. So, to ensure that the [Nature Bind] won't break or snap. Fiona cast a [Enhancement] to further enhance it.
「 [Rose's Thorns] 」[Akane]
The vines that keep the Snoaxe in place suddenly grow thorns that pierce through the thick skin of the Snoaxe causing the snoaxe to bleed but not enough to kill it.
With Fiona's Enhancement and Akane's strong Magical Power. It helps Akane's magical power to be threefold stronger than her normal.
The Snoaxe screech in pain. It alerted its companion. The Snoaxe's companion quickly pushes through the opponent before them to help the little Snoaxe.
Before they could though Mayumi releases her bow and hit the Snoaxe right in the head.
*Thud*
Enrage. The little Snoaxe companion began to rampage.
—Fumiko's POV—
I was busy fending off the Snoaxe before me when I heard a roar piercing cry. It distracts me and out of instinct I quickly look for the source of the cry, only to see Akane wrapping the little snoaxe in the vines full of thorns.
「Guaaahhh—」
I wish I hadn't look because as soon as I look. As soon as I got distracted. I felt an indescribable amount of pain in my abdomen. I couldn't even react. I couldn't even dodge. It happens so fast. I could feel the Ice pierce through my skin and some of my organs. My body flew backward as the Snoaxe hit me with its club full of ice spikes. When the momentum of the flight finishes. My body rolls over to the ground.
I could hear voices calling my name but as time pass by those voices became muffled as I felt like I am at the bottom of the ocean. I couldn't even stay awake for long because of the pain. My senses were slowly fading.
I tried to stand up but I can't. It hurt. It hurt so much that I want to scream in pain but I can't. I couldn't even move my mouth to ask for help. It was a direct hit. The Snoaxe was a B Rank monster and has monstrous strength. Of course, even a genius kid can die.
Although I am tough. It doesn't mean that my body is indestructible because at the end of the day. I still have a body of a 15-year old girl.
It felt like there is water below me but it is impossible. I am not near the lake. It was even 30meters away from me. So, what is it that made me feel damp? I touch those water-like substances and raise my hand to see what it was. It was red. The only conclusion I could come up with is it was my blood. I was a bath with my blood.
I look up and see the Snoaxe before me. Raising its spiky ice club over my head.
My body felt numb. My vision was blurry. It's hard to breathe and my muffled hearing only hears the deafening silence. My consciousness was fading before I could even see/feel the club go down.
The Snoaxe swings its club. Then everything went black.
