Later on that same day, Thomas stood his rented room while the two sisters slept next to each other in the bed, his eyes locked at the small mirror.
This mirror following completely different foundations of compared to the divine and demon way, it is a little bit less impressive in terms of aura but he believed it was a treasure.
He still could barely calm himself before using the system skill
[Mirror] (Upgrade Material)
Grade: Unknown
Description: An relic of the spirit race in the higher realms. Heavily damaged, it lost it's effects and becoming useless. Can be used to upgrade another artifact.]
Sure enough, this is an artifact from the higher planes and mostly specify belonged to the spirit race.
"huh..." The only thing Thomas knew of the spirit race was that Clarisse and her mother were related to it. Her mother as a pure-blooded and Clarisse as half-blooded Mera who only awoke her spirit powers due to the infusion of demon blood in her veins through the Blue Brood Project.
It's a pity the artifact is completely wasted, yet he was happy to have another use for it.
For Thomas this was truly a godsent opportunity.
"I will keep this with me a little more before using it." Leaving at that, Thomas stored away the mirror and went to sleep.
After all the sightseeing, Thomas got back to the island and found a desolate place to build an workshop.
As soon he arrived, he kept the small mirror he brought hidden and went to work on his vessel to leave this world instead.
There he kept himself locked for twenty days, analyzing all the secret blueprints he brought from the Alliance after coming up with an idea.
Then he went over the blueprints adapted from the design of the Adept Knight and an mass-production alliance scout vessel he found in the archives.
Instead of building an ship from the ground up, given he had the fragment of a god, he was planning on upgrade his Luminous Ark.
Making a true divine artifact and adding new formations to his already formidable artifact.
He already environed two new formations for the Ark, the Shuttle Formation and the Knight Formation. The current number of mirrors it has currently are still far bellow his estimative for the amount of pieces this new formation will require.
Since he didn't have the tech for the sensors and other components, Thomas built twenty four new mirrors, but it was far from what he would need..
Unlike the past three formation, Thomas estimated that the new formations would require 360 pieces at the very least. All being mortal grade nine artifacts, of course.
With this many parts, he also expects the previous formations to have a massive gain in power, able to exterminate any demon or wraith it encounters.
After two more weeks, Thomas stood right in the middle of the pile of mirrors. The forging of the new mirrors went by very fast since was already used to it, but the inscription of formations is what took most of these past weeks of his time.
"Phew, this took some time, but it looks great."
He passed the entire time working on this and while some pieces were waited he was able to get all the 360 Artifacts ready for the integration.
Thomas placed the pieces of the Ark near the new pieces and held it the divinity fragment very carefully over the pieces of the luminous ark. In his hand, this divinity fragment in the form of a small mirror appeared like magic.
Now that all pieces had been completed, it was time to bestow divinity upon this artifact of his and make it into a true divine artifact.
"Lumine, are you ready for your evolution?"
The mirrors on the ground hummed softly and Thomas grinned in response.
[Select Upgrade Type]
"Evolution!"
[*Evolution Upgrade Selected. The System detected an upgrade material, do you wish to use it? Y/N]
"Yes! Use it."
Milky-white particles fell from the sky onto the small mirror which slowly began to irradiant a warm and gentle light.
This light resonated with the pieces of Lumine which in term were revealed a similar radiance. By the time this light covered all the three hundred and sixty pieces.
The numerous artifacts shot up through the roof revealing the sky which was taken a massive cloud of swirling darkness, and from within it, seven lightning dragons emerged.
Their powerful wings beat the air, sending bolts of electricity crackling through the sky. Their eyes glowed with an otherworldly fire, and their bodies were made of raw electrical energy, pulsing with power.
They were creatures of raw electrical power, each one unique and powerful in its own right. Their wings crackled with energy, and their eyes glowed with an otherworldly fire.
These seven dragons were a formidable sight, and their arrival was a harbinger of destruction. The air hummed with the sound of their power, and the heavens themselves trembled in their presence.
Nana, Lulu and the beasts of the Lavitein Isle were panic-stricken, they just escaped from a deadly threat and a new one arrives?
However, they dragons didn't give a damn about their existence as their Wraith was all directed at to the small workshop in the distance.
It was clear their desire was to prevent the appearance new divine artifact.
Far away, all the mirrors descended, they began to converge upon a lone figure standing below the dragons. The figure was a man, seemingly unaffected by the chaos and destruction around him. The mirrors attached themselves to the man, forming a sleek and powerful suit that covered him from head to toe.
Thomas stood tall, his eyes blazing with an inner fire. He raised his arms, and the magical suit activated, humming with energy. He was now transformed into a formidable knight, capable of taking on the lightning dragons.
From the dragons, Thomas could feel an similarity in aura to the mystical silver eye. Maybe the eye belongs to whoever they called lord, and this "lord" of theirs sent them to get rid of him.
