The big demon got up on his feet, with his body fully intact. Well, mostly intact, there were still some bruises left from the Divinity-infused
However, this measly amount of dividing didn't seemed to be as effective against the former demon prince's Sin Force.
The huge demon's large eyes then scanned across the now empty city until finding a lonely spear-wielding man walking towards him.
"You!" Seeing it was Thomas, Arthur didn't waste time talking this time and sent back a counter-attack. No matter how much he wanted to devour Thomas right away, he knew it would be that easy.
Thomas didn't cower before the approaching huge claw and went ahead and pressed on with an attack of his own.
Bang!
Suddenly a radiance followed by a astounding shockwave blew off dozens of ruined buildings away, the earth bellow them tumbled, and even some trees far away had fallen off!
"How this is possible?!"
Arthorias had his underlings waste Thomas' physique, losing all his demonic energy in the process. Yet against all changes he still got to the Archis and was able to become one with it.
He also knows he's lucky, If Thomas had enough time to get familiar with the heart of sin he may be able to finish off the enemy in a single blow but even with the system it would take too much time, everybody would have become Arthur's nourishment by then.
Envy, Hatred and a little bit of fear flashed past his big monstrous eyes. Thomas and Arthorias didn't stop exchanging blows and all of city turned out even more of a mess than it was before.
All remaining Daemons and captive beasts that remained had already escaped so Thomas had no need to suppress himself.
"Tell me where's the pathfinder!"
"Never!"
A spear flashed past Arthur's left, ripping a straight, bloody line on the huge body of his.
'His body is tougher than it looks.' Thomas frowned when seeing even a divine artifact like his wasn't doing too much damage to the point he even doubted the Luminous Ark would be enough to finish him off.
He knew very well a divine artifact when a true deity is holding it, and his current divinity can barely power the Microspheres as it is.
"The Archis! I must eat it!" Out of the giant mouth in the belly of the monster, countless tentacles emerged, flying through the wind straight at Thomas.
Thomas was moving forwards at a very fast speed already but his speed suddenly multiplied and he flew right past the tentacles without being hit once.
"Let's try again, Titan God's...."
A giant began forming in the air, glittering and shining then it suddenly grew even further and the bright divinity exploded with it's full might.
"Shadow!"
A single fist hit the Wraith right in the belly, divinity burst forth across all directions disintegrating the terrain down bellow.
Bam!
The sky was filled with dust. But neither of them stopped, the giant Wraith flew upward and was followed by Thomas who condensed divinity on the bottom of his feet to serve as propulsion.
PA! PA! PA!
The fist and earth meet in the sky and the shock waves repel all the clouds and water droplets that form in the atmosphere.
Upon being struck this time, Arthur spat out mouthfuls of blood, Thomas' strength caught him off guard...
In his mind, Arthorias couldn't believe even when seeing his own claw being pushed away by the force. It wasn't at a unbelievable level, but the current Thomas really on par with him.
Upon first glance, Thomas may seem like very young, so even before on mars he didn't regard Thomas despite his sudden emerged and scary growing rate. He didn't expect him the possess this kind of power without even relying on the Archis.
What made him mad was that even he could tell Thomas was still holding back his power. The eyes who looked at him were also devoid of any killing intent, but filled with pity instead as only Thomas and Thomas alone could understand what was happening to him.
'Wait... isn't his name Ries?' When they first met, Arthorias hadn't had the time to research nor cared enough to remember this kid's name.
However, when his men first discovered he was in Aaron, they reported he attended by the name Ries.
He indeed noticed the Name was very familiar, as he took some time to have a closer look at Thomas. He noticed not only the name was familiar but the face reminded him of somebody else.
He suddenly recalled hiving heard the name before, now recently but over fifteen years ago when Thomas was just a toddler. Back then he was spying on the Human Alliance forces with the objective of finding out more about their strengths and weakness for a future demon invasion.
The colony on mars was small with only scientists and other specialists of numerous areas lived on that place.
During that time, he started a little project of his own behind his squad boss', the Azure Garden's Leader, Alice Barnett.
Acting on his imperial father's orders, he got along with a group of scientist and politicians as well chair holders of the human alliance high council. Together they would study the genes of the many species that had invaded earth in the past, including demon genes. That is the how the Project Blue Blood first started.
To the Human Alliance, it was a study with the objective on stealing the talents and abilities of the many species behind the Spatial Rifts in order to mass-produce super humans.
But that was only a cover to his true propose, The Sonad Empire in fact wanted to learn more about human and their strange similarities to humans as well find a way to eliminate the strange aura that assailed all demons.
This same projected would later be responsible for transfusing demon blood onto Clarisse and replacing her brother's heart for a demon's heart who would then became one of the few successful test subjects in his plan. It must be noted that he did all of that not knowing both Clarisse and her brother weren't even humans to begin with and his experiments only accelerated their awakening.
Along with the settlers sent to Mars were the architects and builder team tasked with the design and building of the colony cities.
Arthorias went with the settlers to mars along with his team of researchers. He had entered a prior agreement with the movement that Mars would be a better place to conduct his experiments since it was far away from the eyes of the mass.
With the financing of the Kyle Group and other partners, multiple research installations were build across the colony cities.
Their first try was to take the blood of outer species and use it to manufacture pills contained these species' genetic code as well a demonic rune Athories placed in each of the pills.
Those pills had no flavor at all and couldn't be noticed if mixed in the water and so they did it.
Infecting all the water repositories for the Staff and construction team, those people would be the perfect subjects to test the efficacy of the drug.
Those subjects were were given thin amounts of drugs contained the genetic code for three main species, Demons, Lycans and the mysterious Aeripor.
Most subjects got sick and died while only a few like Gazzel were transform into a higher being but there was one man that was given demon blood pills for over four years yet showed no changes.
That was the engineer Henry Ries, Thomas' father.
