Chapter 160 - Devour the Light

Given how all other subjects got either sick or died from the rejection to other species gene, his lack of reaction to the treatment only made the higher ups more confused.

They were suspicious of the man, thinking he must have been hiding his powers but after a long investigation they confirmed the man was just a ordinary human with no abilities. Of course.

The alliance looked for the documents and what they found was truly surprise. Henry Ries is a young man born in South America with a European mom and Canadian dad. His mom was born in London while his dad belonged to a very prestigious line leading all the way back to the Ancient Greece.

Sure enough most of his ancestors were exemplary knights, warlords, healers, bishops, one was even a Legatus Legionis, a legion commander for the roman empire.

Any of his ancestors were important people who had a taken part of many decisisa moments in the human. Of course, that was far from any legitimate clue as to what made Henry immune to demon blood.

Despite being a demon prince, there was too much he didn't know about the dimensional rifts and the space that tied them together as well many other secrets and everything about this man puzzled him.

This strangeness in this man was the reason Arthorias paid any attention at all to the Ries Family and after one year and a half his youngest son was born, Thomas.

'Wait, if all the demon blood pills effect had somehow been transferred to his son, then...' Arthur had the sudden realization of how Thomas may have come to exist and clenched his teeth. If that is true, then isn't everything his own fault.

Suddenly, his eyes opened wide and reached out to Thomas with the little reasoning he had left.

'Help...."

The power of sin unexpectedly burst outwards, completely obscuring his body. Arthorias' face suddenly changes color greatly at that moment but he knew it was too late and stepped back. "I'm a demon prince, I should be stronger than this... Urg!"

The gray aura erupted even further, devouring his consciousness faster than he could resist.

"Die!!!" With guttural howl, the large wraith began then to clawing his own flesh, dying the floor with his blood. "Die, Die, Die..."

Seeing an opening when the giant demon had stopped moving, his whole body arrives at Arthur's giant right left face like a lightning bolt.

Divinity rose and light silvery fist quickly appears and smashes directly at the creature's mouth chest in an audacious manner at the same time.

Bang!

The impact shook all the remaining debris away but a the monster's gray sin force quickly appears outside his body and blocks the punch directly. But Thomas' necrospear immediately arrives, carrying a mixture of light and fire flying at him like a meteor.

Creak!

The Sin Force protective layer finally showed carts and before the enemy could react, Thomas closed his hand.

Thomas let go of the spear and it suddenly flew around the monster, making scratch's all across the protective field.

Return!

With a thought, Thomas retrieved the Necrospear mid air and dashed across the huge monstrous body of Wraith. He then thrusts it directly at creature's heart at his fastest speed, a thin hole opened on the protective field and gray blood spew everywhere.

Thomas drew back while feeling his arm go numb, he infused lots of divinity into the spear there's no way it couldn't price through the skin.

Bright light penetrated deep within the Wraith's monstrous body, burning it all from the inside out.

"Tell me where's the pathfinder!"

The Gluttony's Wraith was twisting his entire body violently. Then, gathering all of his momentum, a wide tentacle slashes at Thomas like a blade.

"Guaaaa!!"

The Wraith screams and the tentacle wraps around Thomas and pulls him toward itself. It's right arm collides with Thomas's stomach.

Thomas tried to call out to Arthorias, but he didn't respond anymore. It seemed hunger was too strong for his mind to resist and had devoured himself, coming a true Wraith. This degree of corruption reached the final stages even the sage couldn't get to.

Soon, his own body would be gone and only gluttony will remain.

"Shit!" Thomas needed the Pathfinder, but now the only one who knows were is it has lost his mind.

But also couldn't wait anyone, once Arthur' body finishes the transformation he would get a power up even greater than the previous one. By then he would become a threat not only to all beasts in this island but to the whole world.

Without time to waste, Thomas forced his will onto all elemental dots and muttered.

"Burn for me."

Right there, countless bright red dots gathered from the bottoms of the earth forming an ancient and powerful aura. The ground underneath them was dyed in red when a bright and increasingly hot fire erupted from the depths of the earth.

The fire shoot to the sky, forming a pillar that could be seen form all four directions. This second attract, coupled with his spear completely broke the demon's defense.

"Lumine, now!"

The twelve mirrors of the luminous ark had staying under the suns the entire time and gathered enough energy for the final blow.

Following fire pillar shooting upwards was a even wider light shot down from the sky with a sunlight attribute so strong all other elements in the atmosphere had dissipated even if for a shot while.

The pure sunlight pillar completely engulfed the Wraith's body who was rapidly melting before Thomas' eyes.

Booom!

"ARRRRG!!!"

The Wraith shirked and shot it's gray mist to the sky, covering the entire island and covering all the sunrays, encasing the world in darkness.

The light pillar's density lowered at a fast pace and soon it wouldn't even make any damage.

The huge mouth opened once more and with a sucking mouton, it took all the Luminous Ark's Sunlight ray into it's belly.

"Oh, F*ck!"
