Chapter 138 - Lion Projection

In the little valley hidden deep within the Peak of Xamak Mountain, a lone youth stood before a tall metal cauldron covered in rune writings that lit up almost instantly.

From the depths of the Cauldron, a boundless aura surged and the long spear that almost completely rusted wrapped itself in a dazzling ray as it began to melt.

Despite it being mostly just, the energy contained inside this former divine artifact is overbearing to say the least.

Concentrated as he could, Thomas released continuous spirit threads to maintain certain control over the temperatures. The melting down of the Spear released the frightening energy which shook the whole mountain down to it's core, scaring all the beasts down the valley even with numerous barriers surround it.

The skies quickly darkened and wild winds blew through the mountain as a sign of the disturbance in the nature. Black clouds filled at the brim of lightning and thunder grew numerous as Thomas watched it all with calm eyes which betrayed his innermost feelings.

'Thomas, take a deep breath. This is just the start, now I must gather as must natural source as I can while preventing my own spirit of drying out. I cannot allow any mistakes or it would waste all previous efforts.' Talking to himself, Thomas' heart trembles as shirt flutters in the wind.

With a clear and bright gave, he rose his hands and all the wild forces of nature about to erupt freeze in the spot as if a mysterious power has grabbed hold of it all.

Goooo!

At this moment, Thomas nation gives a loud shout and the dust, rocks, the small lake and trees next to the tiny hut as well the fierce brewing storm is all taken into giant Cauldron.

Thomas' hands temple as blood flows down his ears and nose.

Injuries that had long since healed all opened up with just with that one single use of the Elemental Picking Hand.

Using the burning of the spear of Ares was the only way he could get the purest and stronger sources of nature for the creation of a masterpiece.

With the burning sunlight shot from the luminous ark down at the cauldron, all the natural elements were swiftly extracted from it's sources than crystalized before melting as well.

Thomas' inner sense wraps the giant cauldron, inspecting every aspect of the process.

In the outside, the atmospheric energy is getting more and more violent. Darker clouds cover the entire Xamak mountains, blocking the three suns and making so the amount of sunlight the Luminous Ark could provide to lessen by a whole 30% and it would become worse as times passes.

Inside the Cauldron, bright luminous crystals and rusted spear's energy began clashing with each other, unable to achieve the last step of melting as one.

And with the sudden lack of a strong enough heat source, the burden on Thomas increased. Making the already weakened youth to squeeze every bit of willpower and energy to feed to the flames.

Pouring everything into the completing the artifact, giving his own life force to feed the flames made his his own vitality dwindle at a fast pace.

Blood wouldn't stop flowing down his nose, ears and even his eyes began to bleed. Thomas, was getting dizzy in the head when images of Prometheus entire life resurfaced before his eyes.

'Roar!'

Driven by sheer instinct, Thomas gritted his teeth and roared. The blood in his veins ignited at the sound of his roar. Patterns that seemed to be gone appeared his skin, very hot as if it was branded by hot iron. The few and remaining patterns all lit up before melting into Thomas once more, leaving no traces.

Roar!

Deep in his veins echoed a loud and overbearing roar, filled with incomparable power and influence startled even Thomas himself!

Inside his pupils, purple and orange lights condense into a lion.

That Lion stood tall and firm as it glanced down at the world like a true king.

All of this happened inside his body but on the outside another mysterious phenomenon was happening as a pure and entrancing multi-colored wheel of light hovered above his head like a angel's halo.

"Bang..."

All of sudden the whole process become a lot easier, both the crystals of different elements and divine spear stopped all signs of conflict and became eager to follow his will.

The tall cauldron shivers as it couldn't barely hold in to the astonishing amount of energy was oozing off the spear that once belonged to Ares.

Booom!

The caldron burst into pieces without even showing signs of rupture and a wave of energy never seen before shot up to the sky before spreading to every corner of the world.
