Thomas could feel the pressure of the massive army from afar, all of minimum 4-star or between 1 and 2-star Elite Adept. He haven't seem the entirety of the Free cities alliance, but it shouldn't be even close to this.
So many experts of this level and beyond could swept across the human forces on mars and considering the Alliance barely has 7-star beasts, the chances of wining should be very dim.
"This is bad, and Arthur even has the support of other tribes such as the twilight lions and water lions. Who knows how many others received demonic powers from him." As he got closer to the bottom of the mountain, Thomas noticed the traces of beasts he previously felt when he first began his seclusion are all gone.
Some left all their belongings and homes away when they escaped , others just tidy up the little they had before leaving.
The second his feet reached the bottom of the mountain, Thomas trembled in shock as his heartbeat accelerated like thunderbolt.
"Hee-He's here..." Looking at the ruins of Glamadon where the Krias army mounted their camp, he was able to faintly access the demon prince's current location among the ruins.
Forgetting about his mission for a little while, Thomas pondered about staying, then shook his head before packing up and heading to another mountain range in the distance.
After leaving the forces of beasts far away and heading deeper into the wild, everything was quiet and peaceful once more. But, he would see some flying beasts fleeing to the south.
The serene atmosphere lasted for a short while before it was suddenly disrupted by a tall figure which run as fast he could not daring to look back.
Packs of beasts were all staring at him as he approached, this time not wearing anything that could cover his face.
His body had lost a considerable amount of resilience so he was quite slower than before but still arrived at the small valley before sunset.
Looking at the colorful little wolves, spiders, and even black-horned horses, he was surprised the beasts in this valley had become much more numerous. With majority being the weaker grade 1 and 2 beast that had no potential of growth.
The distressful ape scurried away into the mountains upon seeing his approaching figure. His terrified face would sweep a glance, looking out for the ancient beast chasing after him.
It took little time to see how much things changed, no ghost apes were seen in the valley nor anywhere else. According to the beasts, the Ghost Apes ruling Xamak locked themselves inside the mountain weeks ago and haven't left ever since.
Before, they had commanders with 5-star battle power and a total of one hundred and eighty two Ghost Apes bellow that level but now their forces were cut in half not to mention the loss of all three 5-star commanders. If it wasn't for the assistance of the Krias, they would have lost the ownership of Xamak long ago.
Raising his eyes to look, at the familiar Xamak mountain at the end of the valley he smiled. Since he already knew who was behind the ghost apes, he doesn't need to hold back anymore.
"It's him! Attack!"
Walking towards the mountain without a shred of hesitation, he stopped before the entrance when multiple apes rose from the ground and attacked.
"Hmm." Red glow flashed bellow Thomas' clothes before it divided into rays of light shooting at every single one of the Ghost Apes even before they got into five meters away from him.
"What?!" "This?!" "How?"
The twenty-eight apes had no time to react when the bright red rays got closer and closer.
Puuu!
Dozens of heads split under and the curious and watchful gaze of the wild beasts, their eyes then swept cross Thomas as if they were looking at a monster. Thomas, the monster their eyes recalled all the red flashes only to be revealed as twenty-three crimson daggers, all identical to each other.
Crimson Flash x31 (Mortal grade 3)
Attack Power: 12 Durability: 118/133
Power Kill Formation (level 2): Under certain circumstances, unleash a certain death attack when thrown at an enemy. (Requirements: Only when in numerical disadvantage and the targets must be an entire level bellow than the user.)
In a instant, all the 3-star beasts under Kuijar were eliminated and Thomas easily got into the mountain.
The Ape King Kuijar was resting on a small lake at the peak of Xamak when he noticed something was wrong. The tall ape sweat deeply as he listened to the bloody screams and bone-crunching sounds down the mountain.
Little by little the sounds of battle got closer and closer before it suddenly stops.
Kuijar frowned then grabbed a tall rock and threw it at the entrance, blocking the way into the inner mountain.
"You think this is enough to stop me?" A young voice sounded from above and upon looking upwards, Kuijar saw a young man looking down at him from above as the youth stood upon a floating piece of cloth.
Clothing his teeth, Kuijar cursed himself as he glared at the boy then changed his face to a fake smile. "I know who you are, he told me. But don't you think I am not prepared."
The ape body shrined before Thomas very eyes, all it's fur fell off and in the depths of it's beastly eyes a golden radiance lit up.
Seeing as the Ape king got more and more human-like features, Thomas laughed silently then gave a tap on his wrist then muttered quietly. "Lumine, Fire!"
Twelve golden mirrors hanged in the sky as they all sucked in most of the sunrays, when all aligned with the three suns, the mirror lit up with hundred of glassy runes.
Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...
Kuijar didn't notice the high pitched noise coming from somewhere and before he could even complete his transformation a pillar of pure light descended from above like the decree of heaven.
Puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!
His body replete with demonic energy during the transformation when in contact with this white light, the entirety of it's being was immediately dissolved without a second of resistance.
"I knew he would try that." Collecting the mirrors back into his pocked, Thomas first made sure there were no one else other than the Ghost Apes then went ahead and took all the belongings and treasures hidden at the mountain peak.
Truth be told, Thomas wasn't sure he could beast the ape king in his current condition, while he could still rely on his spirit to cast the spirit threads and make formations, his body was still in a fragile state.
During this entire time he waited to see if any of the ghostly apes would show the same demonic energy as the lizard-man and the others. And if he did, Thomas had long since prepared as he first let the Luminous Ark in place as it needed a long time to charge.
Then upon cornered the Ape King really did fall upon his trap. It's the first time he got to use this weapon of his he made specially for Arthur.
