His head felt heavier and heavier as each pulse of throbbing pain messing with his senses. Eyes open, Thomas found himself in immense dark sea of darkness, sinking.
Images of a classroom appeared in his mind. The classmates and teachers passed by him as he didn't even existed and when they did see him, everything he heard were the mocking words or those that pietied on him.
The world had lost its color as he understood the dark side of the humans. But, in a way, he understood their feelings. In this world where power, money and position mattered, who would want to mix with him?
Anger, hatred, frustration, loneliness, resentment.... All sorts of negative feeling took root in his heart.
In the only safe haven that is his house, days passed where he immersed himself in the world of games, trying to find a way to escape his problems and worries.
The time was coming for the last test and and while he hoped things would get better, it didn't Kicked out of the institute, nothing else was left as he took his belonging and walked back home, defeated.
Those that knew him acted as if he never did existed... Walking among thousands, it still felt like he was the only one in this world.
[Why do you insist on being human, is there something good about it. Birth, growth, reproduction and death.... If this is all you can ever acomply why even live such pointless life?]
Whispers reached his ears, yet Thomas didn't seem to notice and kept doing his daily chores.
Thomas took a quick shower before changing into winter clothes and went to the shopping district in the center of the city.
He bought some meat and vegetables to cook for his mom when she got home from work when he turned left and stopped.
A young girl with bright blonde hair tied in a ponytail walked out the cake shop. Looking at the familiar face, he recognized her as a friend from middle school
"He..." Thomas was about to call out to her when he saw a handsome young man about his own age. The girl saw him and her face lit up, walking forward, both embraced and joined lips right in the middle of the street.
'Urh.' For some reason, Thomas who stood at the back felt his heart clenching. Feeling as if the entire world lost its color, a deep voice sounded next to his ear.
[See, you have nothing left. Even amongst billions, you are only one, you will always be alone...]
'No.' Thomas swiftly turned around but couldn't see the source of the voice, instead he saw himself standing over a huge abyss.
A purple and orange outline of a human being stood in front of him, his face covered in dark veil. [You don't need others, follow yourself, follow us, and you shall never be alone...]
For a second, Thomas face flinched between despair to a trace of hope.. "C-Can I... Truly become somebody in this world?"
This person seemed particularly happy about the question as his lips raised like a crescent moon. "Of course you can, all you need is to grab my hand and leave all that makes you weak behind, and be a DEMON."
Looking at the extended hand, Thomas unconsciously walked towards the hand, as soon the two hands were about to touch, the former pulled back his hand as he gave a frenetic laugh. "hehehehe... AHAHAHAHA! Who are you to try corrupt me?"
With a thought, his body floated and raised above the abyss of despair, the amber eyes were pure and filled with light.
Seeing the change in Thomas, the Inner Demon was startled, then kept its composure as if nothing happened."Who am I? I am you and you are me, everything I am is yours. Yours emotions, your memories, your actions..."
In that instant, Thomas interrupted. "Wrong, if you indeed had my memories, you would known I'm not alone. It's true that demon are pretty powerful for a ordinary human, but not for me. To me you are just a tool to make me stronger."
His body burned once more, but this time it wasn't the demon power that was ignited but something else.
Behind Thomas grew a massive shadow of a Titan over hundred times taller than the inner demon. A power never felt before was born deep inside his bones.
Taking several steps back, the inner demon cowered for the first time as it stuttered. "T-Ti-Titan! No way, I can't remember something like this. This is impossible!"
Thomas on the other side was more than happy with his reaction which conformed what he most wanted to know. 'I knew it. This thing only has influence over my human side, he doesn't know anything about the system or my memories as the deities.'
Since this mass of resentment and negative emotions couldn't access anything related to the system, Thomas felt more confident than ever.
The huge Titan teared down the whole abyss with its bare hands as Thomas was brought back to reality.
........
Waking up from that strange dream, Thomas recalled the past few moments and he immediately shot up to his feet. Feeling the dried sand with his fingers, he gave a quick glance at his surroundings before realizing he was in a desert.
'I remember getting inside the giant dimensional breach, what the hell happened...' Thomas was in deep thought as he gasped... The sand was different from the one found in mars, but most surely the greatest different and what made his gasp right there was the three golden suns adorning the extensive sea of yellow clouds and celestial bodies in the sky.
Look down at himself, there was indeed three shadows being projected off his body. The amount of sunlight and other energies in this place were so dense it made Thomas tingle.
At this point, Thomas recalled the words he exchanged with the demon prince, 'Dimensional Nexus, Huh... Unlike the dimensional rifts, the huge ones seem to be connected to multiple places similar to how Kan was brought from his world which means....'
"Am I in a alien planet?"
