Ami's POV
Everyone is busy inside the house. Me, as always, is in charge of cleaning the whole house, Alex and Cody is in the kitchen preparing the food. Nathan and Timothy is with me since the house is big, i can't clean it by myself. But Nathan had to go with Brian at the market. I tried to convince them to let me buy the "Congratulations Well Done" banner for Theodore but they refuse. They said that as long as they got those they'll come home immediately.
"Don't worry about them. They know what to do if people recognize them."
I sigh. "As long as the reporters won't made any misleading information, they'll be fine." Tim said while taking back the sofa on its place.
"If they got here without any harm, then I'll be fine..." I look around the second floor. "..Seems like we're done here."
"Let's go to the last spot. The first floor." Tim said while getting the trash bin. I took the broom and dust pan and we both came down to the last spot.
While brooming, Alex came with a spatula. "Tim taste this." Tim, i stead of taking the spatula from Alex hands, he swipe his forefinger and taste the sauce. "How was it? Is it too spicy for Theodore?"
Tim only shook his hands. "It's good. He can eat it."
After Alex left the living room I asked Tim why are they asking him if the food is to spicy for Theodore.
"He hates any kinds of spicy food." He said. We we're done cleaning so Tim decided to clean Theodore's Room. He said he can manage when i offer to help. Now that I can't do anything with Tim i went to dinning room and saw the table cloth wasn't in proper place so i had to set aside all the tableware and fix it. While fixing i head a door open and close.
I was about to go out when i saw Nathan and Brian coming where i was.
"Did you find what you're looking for?" I asked. They just shake their heads. "But don't frown because we can draw and cut letter papers and pin it to the wall with just a tape."
Nathan showed me a paper bag. "I'll ask Tim to write some letters and we'll cut it and Nathan will decorate everything." Brian said. I nod. They head of to the living room first since i had to fix the dinning table. As soon as I'm done Cody went out of the kitchen. I look at him and he did the same.
"Uhh..." He scratched the back of his head and smile awkwardly. "..can you taste this? We can't say if the taste is alright or not since Alex and I taste three dish in a row. Our Tongue is too numb to taste this last dish."
I took the spoon and taste the soup. I nodded. "It taste good. You're good." I said then smile at him.
"Cody! Help!." Alex shouted from the kitchen. Cody and I rush to the kitchen and we saw him with bunch of plates in his hand and one of those is slipping through his hand. I ran towards him and took the plate that is slipping form his hand.
"Thank you Ami. You should head back there. Where done here." Alex said then pat my head. I smile at him and left them there.
I went to the living room and sat on the floor beside Brian who's already cutting the letter paper that Tim draw.
"What took you so long? Why's Alex needs help?" Nathan asked as soon as i sat. "Cody asked me if the last dish he made is okay and The plates is slipping through Alex's hand." I answer while taking the scissor and the three paper.
While cutting the paper, all of us whose at the living room are silent. Until someone entered the main door. We all look there and saw Kyle.
Earlier manager Earo called him. He's in his room and he let me change his comforter since he admit he didn't know about how to do it. I was the only one who knows he left.
"I thought you're in your room sleeping." Nathan said. "No. I went out to go to the store to buy ice cream." He said. He went to the kitchen, maybe to put it in the fridge.
Okay. That was a white lie. He told me he'd really buy us ice cream before going out to meet Manager Earo.
"He still hasn't arrive?" Kyle asked as soon as he sat beside me. "He'll be here in maybe thirty minutes. I should take a bath." Tim said and went upstairs after stretching both his arms forward. He's done on what he's doing. Brian and I is connecting the letter on a slim leash.
After that Brian and I decided to hang it on the wall. We put down the painting that was place in there. We will take it back after the celebration.
They all went to their respective room to do what they need while me fixing my self on my own. I'm wearing an short tiered-skirt Garnet red dress with a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo Ninfea Beige pumps.
I'm thinking of wearing only a white shirt paired with blue jeans short and a low cut white converse but Kyle went to my room carrying the two box that has a dress and shoes. I insist on wearing my own clothes but he said Theodore wants me to wear those casual dress. There's nothing I can lose if I wear those so instead of refusing to wear it , I agreed and now I am looking at the mirror looking so regretful.
Its fits to me perfectly and I don't know how they got my sizes, but I am not use to wear something like this sexy type dresses. I feel like exposing my whole body even if I had this on.
I sigh. And was about to put a lip tint when i heard a knock. "Ami are you done?." Kyle's said outside my room.
"Yeah. Please come in." i answered. I saw Kyle opened my room door wearing a mint green small stripes polo and a light brown pants with a black belt and a Birkenstocks slippers on.
"Ow." His chinky eyes open in awe or in disappointment as he saw me. I smile awkwardly. "Do I look terrible?" He shake his head. "No. You look great." He compliment me.
I sigh and sat on my bed. He entered the room and sat on the Study chair. "Why? What's wrong?" He asked.
I sigh. "You know that I am you know.." he nodded and got what i mean. "And?"
"I'm not used to wear this anymore. I feel like exposing my whole body. Oh my god." I said then bow my head.
"Can I asked you?" He said after clearing his throat. "What is it?"
"Be honest here. Do you love yourself?" He asked. I nodded.
"Seems like you don't." He stand up and look at the mini bookshelf. "How dare you say that?" I asked.
He turn to me and smile. "I didn't hear your conviction. You just nodded."
"Do I have to say it.?" He offer me his hand and I accepted it. He pull me up from sitting on my bed and We both look at each other in the whole body mirror. "Look Ami, if you say "I love myself" here in front of this mirror everyday, You'll see the beauty that I'm seeing right now."
I smile and look at him standing behind me through the mirror. "Take your Time and Do it. Don't go out of this room without uttering those words sincerely."
He then left my room. I sigh and look at myself through the mirror. "I...."
Why can't I say it?. I sigh and close my eyes.
I will do it. Yes Kyle was right. I don't love myself that much. I'm always Doubting myself even if I know I can do something.
I look straight in to myself in the mirror. "I Love Myself." After i said those words, it feels like magic that I became confident. Not the over confident okay? but you know that, the feeling of regaining something from myself.
I smile one last time in the mirror and went out of the room.
I saw Kyle fixing his Polo, I went to him and lightly grab his arms. "You can always ask someone to fix it for you. It's not that hard You know." I said while fixing his polo.
"I saw a bit of confidence in you. That's a Good Start." he said that made me smile.
"Hey Theodore Is on his way now. texted me. He's already in the Market." Tim out of nowhere said while running down the stairs. "Be careful Tim, You might trip down!" Alex said while calmly going down the stairs.
He saw me and smile. He even give a thumbs up. "Guys look at Ami. isn't she lovely today?" Alex asked.
Kyle was beside me smile and shake his head, Brian and Nate who's busy fixing the Mp3 player look at me. I smile at them awkwardly and wave my hand. "Hi."
"Even Before she's already beautiful." All of us looks at Cody who's sitting on the same window Tim used to sit whenever he's pulling an all nighter.
"Ohhh! Cody!" Nate tease him and he just shrug. I look at Alex. Who's wearing a White Sweater pair with a Denim ripped pants and a pair of all white shoes. it fits him well. He look gorgeous
Brian who's wearing a white polo folded sleeves and a short pants pair with the low cut converse shoes. He look too bright but a good one, a head turner one.
Nate was wearing an all Black casual, A T-shirt, pants and a pair of Nike shoes. Thank god I didn't wear black shirt today or else we have the same outfit. Also a Head turner.
Tim who's busy on his phone was wearing a simple white shirt topped with denim jacket and a denim pants an a brown Timberland boots.
Cody was wearing a white loose polo and a pleated pants and a black Birkenstocks slippers.
I sigh and told Kyle I'll help Nate and Brian who's fixing the table. As soon as I got there, I saw them debating on what should be the arrangements.
"The Dessert should be in the fridge since that will be the last thing we're going to eat. The rice should be in the center since I assume that everyone will eat that. The arrangements of the plates, fork spoon and glasses is okay."
They both look at me and smile. "Thanks to you we don't need to argue about that petty arrangements." Nate said while putting the platter of rice in the center table.
I laugh. "Both of you just have different ideas arranging the table. But that doesn't mean you we're arguing about it. You're just giving each others an Idea." I said.
We we're about to go to the kitchen when Tim Shout.
"He's here! Theodore's here Guys! Come on!."
Brian and Nare didn't hesitate to Run after they heard What Tim Said. I sigh.
I felt nervous today, Actually I've been feeling this for a while. I don't know how I'm going to face him. I felt so embarrass.
"Why are you just standing here and didn't welcome me?" I look at the guy who's wearing a stripe long sleeves polo, he unbutton the first button of it slightly showing his chest, pair with black pants and black shoes.
I bow my head and sigh. "Too deep, It almost drown me." He said.
"Well She said earlier that she'll tell us something. Hey Ami what is it?" Nate said.
"Yeah. What was it? I'm curious here." Tim said. I look at them and Look at Kyle.
"Go ahead and tell us what's bothering you." Kyle said. I sigh then tears started falling from my eyes. "I'm sorry guys. I made you go through that hell, especially to Theo. Maybe if I listen to Cody, things wouldn't be mess. I'm sorry I became insensitive and inconsiderate."
I bow. soon after that, I saw a pair of foot and felt someone hug me. "Hey, Don't blame yourself, I was the one who's insensitive and inconsiderate, I was the one who didn't think of Theodore in what i did. So please stop blaming yourself. It wasn't your fault. Its mine." Cody Assures me.
I look up to him. "I'm sorry." He said. I look at his eyes, and there it is. The sincerity. He was about to touch my face, maybe to wipe my tears, but Nate and others started teasing us.
Cody and I push each other out of embarrassment.
Alex went to me and gave me his handkerchief. I accepted it and wipe my tears.
"What a man Cody. I didn't even know you have this side. This is the first time I saw you caring for a girl." Kyle tease him as he sat down on the chair.
"Stop it. It's not funny. If you saw a girl crying, what would you do first?" Cody defend himself
"I'll offer my arm so she could cry there without making her feel embarrassment." Theodore said and sat beside me while saying those.
The chairs position now is like this,
Tim, Nate, Alex
Cody Kyle
Brian, Theo, Ami
Cody and Theo was staring at each other. "Just like that? What are you? Her friend?" Cody asked sarcastically.
"What do you think?" Theo talk back to him thaw made everyone go silent. When Cody is going to say something I grab Theodore's Attention. "Here Theo, I know you like this." I said while putting some meat on His plate.
I look at Kyle. "You also want this?" I asked.
"Yeah, put some on my plate please?" He said.
And just like that, Happy mood came back. We we're all in smile as we talking what happened earlier. How Brian and Nate come out in disguise and how other people unrecognized them, How Theo got scolded by his parents because of the issue, and so on, but Cody was silent and he was just laughing there. Theo even tried to put some foods on my plate, I couldn't say no.
After that Alex stand and leave the dinning. I saw him went to kitchen. I was about to follow him when i felt someone hand on mine. I look at it and the owner of the hand. "Don't worry about him." Kyle assure me. I smile. "I'm still the helper here so I should help him because that's my job."
I gently remove his hands on mine and follow Alex. Theo even asked me but I didn't answer him.
I soon as I enter the kitchen I saw Alex putting some wine glasses on the tray who has a bucket of ice with a wine inside. "You can always ask for my help since that's my job." He got startled as i spoke.
"Wow! I Didn't even notice your presence. You scared the hell out of me."
I went to him and took the bucket that has a wine. and some of the wine glasses. "No need for that tray. Let's Go?"
We went out. As soon as they saw us Theodore's eyes got bigger. "Wine!" He said excitedly. Nate open the wine and put on our glasses. "Cheers!" Theodore said.
"Cheers!" We all went after him and drink the Wine.
After the feast, Theodore asked me if we can go out. I look at the guys and Asked for their permission and they agreed.
Before we left the house we took some Chips and Drinks from the kitchen and went to the playground.
Now we're here again. Sitting in the same spot.
"Time flies so fast." Theo said and swing himself. As soon as he got tired he stop and look at me smiling.
"Did You know why I said no Even President Warren want me to say yes?"
I Look at him in shock. "What?" I asked.
"Yeah..." He said while nodding. "They want me to say Yes. But I don't want not because of what you told me this morning but because of Brian."
"Brian?" He nodded as I asked.
"He said If I tell a Lie Once, then All my Truths will became questionable. So you see, even if you didn't chase me, I will still say no. Because as you said..."
"The most Free Person In The World Is The One Who Has Nothing To Hide." We said at once and laugh.
