J had lived a good life. He had loved passionately. Married young for love, he had changed his dreams. His life had many tribulations that man was simply not meant to face and the gods saw this. They were now watching as his life was ending.
The last thing J saw was a blinding flash. He also remembered it was so peaceful. As soon as the flash ended he could no longer find his wife or kids. After searching everywhere J found his wife's clothes in a pile where she had been standing. His kids were all the same. As the big man sobbed a voice rang out in his head.
"Do you wish to get revenge for them?" The voice was deep and rough like the man had gargled broken glass as a kid.
J looked around for the source but couldn't find anyone nearby. Again the voice spoke. "Stop wasting time looking for me and answer my question!" This time it was forceful like a parent correcting their child.
J stopped and without skipping a beat spoke only one word "Yes".
Josh was suddenly floating and lifted up until Earth was just a marble. His body started changing and in the end his appearance was of him at about 18 only if he had found weightlifting before then. His beard had shrunk to a much shorter version but was somehow fuller. The earth shifted as well and he watched as it rolled back to just before the flash was seen.
Beside him without warning an older man in a cloak was standing. 2 large ravens stood on his staff he was leaning on. In his one good eye a tear could be seen forming. He reached his hound out towards J and as he shook with a warriors embrace said: " Druss it is good to finally meet you. You know me as Odin."
