In the Kingdom of Paxos, there once was a small city called Aeirash. The people that lived there were always in harmony, and when someone was low on food, somebody else always helped. It was one of the most peaceful cities in all of Paxulos.
In Aeirash, there lived a man who owned a small bread shop; he lived there with his daughter, Aaliyah, who helped run the shop. In times of trouble, he and his daughter helped out anyone hungry and gave them some bread. He was just cleaning up the shop when the doorbell rang and a man entered in a grey cape.
"Welcome, welcome! Can I get anything for you, sir? We've just received some rolled bread from the Teurplus Country far west, very fresh!" He said, bursting with enthusiasm.
"No." The man replied "Sourdough."
"Ah, You have a Grandorian accent. I presume you are from the capital?" The shop owner said happily. He continued. "Oh, and before I forget, I'll get your order. Aaliyah! I have an order for one Sourdough bread." Before the man in the gray cape could say anything, the shop owner's daughter came in with his sourdough bread.
She had long black hair and blue eyes that were covered with black oversized glasses.
She was wearing a gray apron around her waist and was carrying his order of sourdough. " Ah, yes Aaliyah. bring that here." His daughter placed the bread inside her father's large hands.
"Here you go, one order of sourdough bread," she exclaimed.
"Oh, is that your daughter?" the man in the cape asked. She looked around his age, maybe a year or two younger. The shop owner smiled.
"Yes! My daughter helps me around here a lot. Always helping make the bread and delivering it to people all across Aeirash." he smiled at her and she smiled back, glancing at the man in the gray cape.
"Well," she said, turning to the man in the gray cape as he handed her father the money. She glanced over at him and saw his face. He had dark green eyes and a scar over the left one, She thought she remembered him from somewhere. "Thank you for coming, Mr…?" She asked, hoping to catch his last name as if to remember where she saw him from...
"Elrood," He said " Ace Elrood" He responded
"Wait, aren't you-" But before she could finish her sentence he walked out of the shop.
