watch as Shaw pulls out of the school parking lot with my wife. Oh fuck I so fucked up this time. I don't even know how I'm going to fix it. As I'm watching the car leave I'm fists are clenched at my sides. I'm not mad at Shawn far from it I'm pissed at myself and my lack of self control. In all this time I've never lost it like that. What would've happened if she hadn't fought back? Oh fuck I don't even want to think about it.
Looking around I find my bike and walk towards it with a heavy heart. It's a slink black bike with dark red flames in the side of it. I love this bike usually I get a thrill out of riding it but today it's just transportation to get me home. Without putting on a helmet I start the bike and take off for my high rise apartment in the middle of downtown.
Going down the road I contact Hermes to give Shaw a message,
"Hermes."
His response comes quickly and with great enthusiasm,
"Yes, Your Majesty how may I I service you today?" His voice is like a clear running stream cold and to the point.
"Go to Eita and see how Shawn is doing." I hesitate for a moment before adding,
"Shawn is my wife I need to know and I need to see her. See if Eita is willing to step aside for awhile while we talk."
There's a pause before Hermes answers,
"Your wife?."
I roll my eyes it's a question, a statement and an opening all in one. But I refuse to go there.
"Yes. Be quick about it to. When your down find me at my apartment." My voice leaves no room for more questions or conversation. I'm done with this and he knows it.
"Yes, Your Majesty." And with that Hermes is gone.
A fee minutes later I'm pulling into the underground parking garage and pulling into my space. Ah home sweet home. Getting off the bike I make my way to the elevator and go to the top floor penthouse. Some day's I just love being me. Unlimited power, money and immortality who could ask for more. Unfortunately it comes with a job from hell, literally and a infinite amount of time on my hands. Oh well there is always a down side to everything.
As the elevator goes up my heart sinks as I remember how Shawn curl up in the front seat of the car to hide from me. How did I fuck up so bad with her in the course of a few hours? And how am I ever going to get her to trust me enough to let me near her again?

As the elevator doors open up I walk into my apartment. It's luxury at its finest with its creamy plush furniture and thick red rugs on black hardwood floors and wide ope space it usually makes me feel comfortable when I'm here in the mortal world but today I find it cold. So with that happy thought in mind I go to the gym to work off some of this while I wait for Hermes to do is job.
It's been over an hour what the fuck is taking that talkative mother fucker so long. Fuck. All kinds of things are going on in my head as I spare with one of my underlings. He's taking a beating today but I just don't give a flying fuck. When I'm about to attack him again I feel a cold breeze at my back and hear,
"Your Majesty, I've come with news." Fucking finally.
I look at my opponent and say,
"You may go." I hold up my hand to let Hermes know not to start just yet, I don't need anyone else getting involved with this.
When he's out of the way I put up a shield so know one can eavesdrop on us the turn to him and say,
"Continue."
Hermes looks uncomfortable and that's never a good sign he's normally needles me about anything and everything but today he's to serious for my liking.
FUCK!
"Aidoneus." He stops and the puts his head down but continues,
" I don't know where to start. So I'm just going to go with the whole of it so please don't interrupt me." He waits for me to knowledge him and I nod my head for him to continue.
"Ok. It's more complicated then I first thought. Eita won't let you see her and he won't hand her over to you. The human on the other hand won't let Eita leave her side. She had a panic attack when he was going to go down stairs with me to finish our conversation. Eita treats her differently from anyone else. I think you need to contact Psyche. To make sure that this is indeed your wife. And there is something else that I think you should know but Eita was adamant that you didn't find out."
How is this possible? She's my wife I know this but she clings to Shaw and doesn't respond to me. Fuck this just gets better and better.
"Tell me." I say and wait for Hermes to get on with it.
"This human is gifted with "sight". But she doesn't know it or how to use it."
This floors me . Shaw gave her sight, what the fuck was he thinking.
"Eita gave her sight?" I ask Hermes. I need to get this clarified. If so then his punishment will be sirve.
Hermes shakes his head and says,
"No she was born with it. That's what took me so long. I went to home to chat with the Fates and you know how the love to talk in circles and around everything. But what I gathered is that this human was born with "sight" and foreshadowing. "
Oh fuck. No wonder why she reacted to me so strongly she sees me for what I really am and that's a scary thought.
"You said she doesn't know, how is that possible?" I ask. I have to know.
Hermes shrugs and says,
"That I'm not sure. But it seems to me that she doesn't know because she seen me and it frightened her but she couldn't prosses what she was seeing. "
Well uh. This is a curve ball I wasn't expecting.
"Does she see Eita as well?" I ask. If so then why does she cling to him.
"I don't think so. Because if she did she would run a mile and not hang on to him with all her might. " Hermes answers.
That burns me a little but Hermes is right Shaw is just as bloodthirsty as I am and just as ruthless. If Shawn knew she wouldn't come within a mile of him. But how can she see me and not him that makes no sense. Unless Psyche has had something to due with it. If I find out she has that bitch will pay and she'll pay dearly for it.
"Thanks Hermes. Is there anything else I need to know?" I ask. I need to finish this up and summon Psyche to me.
" No, Your Majesty but trend carefully with this." And with that Hermes dissolves in front of me.
Sighing I head for the shower. This day is just getting better and better.
